I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I was in the process of moving to a different state,…read moreand hired Colonial Lawn Care to mow my yard on a regular basis since I would not be able to. It is a good thing my Real Estate Agent checked on the house on a regular basis. Issue #1: First, Frank from CLC decided that my yard needed to be mowed 4 days after the last mowing. I had lived in my house for over 8 years. NEVER did it need to be mowed every 4 days. When I called Frank to ask him about this, he got upset at me for questioning his integrity and hung up the phone. I emailed him to let him know that I would be finding someone else to now my yard. This is the email I got back from him... "DONT QUESTION MY OR MY COMPANYS INTGERITY . WE DID OUR JOB! LIMBS ALL IN YARD GRASS AT 3 INCHES 2 DAY EARLY, MY GOAL WAS TO KEEP THE HOUSE READY TO SELL. YOU SAY WE TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE, PLEASE! IVE 20 PICS AND A NABOR THAT SAY OTHER WISE, I DONT WANT YOU BUSINESS! SHAM ON YOU MAM, GOOD DAY Regards Lt. col..Franklin H. Trantham Commanding Officer: Colonial Lawn Care and Landscape Services" Not very professional. Issue #2: I asked CLC to clean out my gutters. I got a receipt on 6/4/15 where they charged me for this task. The receipt said they cleaned the gutters on 6/2/15. This is where my Real Estate Agent was a blessing. He sent me pictures on 6/11/15 showing that the gutters had not been cleaned. This made me very disappointed because now that was 2 ways Frank from CLC tried to take advantage of me. He charged me for a service his company did not preform. If Frank got upset because I thought he was taking advantage of me for the first issue, I can't imagine what his excuse would be for charging me for cleaning out my gutters, then not. I emailed Frank to let him know that I was disputing the charge for cleaning out my gutters. My email: "You charged me for cleaning out my gutters, yet you did not. Because of this I will dispute this charge with my credit card company. Attached is picture from my real estate agent from today." His email response: "Will fix . now get lost Regards, Capt: Franklin H. Trantham C.O. / Field Operations Mgr. Colonial Lawn Care and Landscape Services" Overall, if you are home on a regular basis, and can babysit CLC to make sure they do what they say then they do a good job, but I do not have the time to have to watch a "professional" that closely. I wish I could attach the pictures of my gutters that my Real Estate Agent on here to share with others to show you how they "clean" out gutters.
