We tried to be civil and find a solution. There was no explanation for how they forgot there was a wedding on, not even an apology from Greg. The last part is what really kills me. If you work with this guy and think he's a twat, please take this as confirmation - your view is correct.

It made me doubt myself but husband verified that I clearly ordered the scallops- we had chatted with the owner about them. Well fortunately the scallops were fabulous. They were served over mashed English peas. Also yummy. My other order was the grilled calamari served with 2 large pieces of chorizo. Calamari was great- all but one piece was melt in your mouth tender. My husband ordered the steak special (wagyu sirloin?). Steak had the fabulous flavor but too much gristle in it. I think this place is more of a hobby for the well to do owner than a business venture - the opening hours and days are quite restricted so you have to pick your visits as well. The food keeps us coming back, usually for a work group lunch. We always factor in extra time for the slow service but have walked out on several occasions when it is apparent we would be waiting for too long. When it is warm the outdoor garden (with fresh herbs, olive trees, etc) is beautiful but a cold desolate place in winter. Pick your days for al fresco dining !
