My wife and I had an amazing trip with Capt Scott and his deckhand Grace. We did a harbor cruise, and it was a great experience. Scott runs a very tight operation, is very knowledgeable about the area, and is a great person to have a conversation with. Grace was also a very knowledgeable sailor, and very attentive to our every need. I highly recommend a trip with Charleston Sailing Charters. We will definitely be back. Connor T. read more

I character Ed the gate for a private sailing with my wife and couldn't have asked for anything more. The weather was perfect, wind was perfect, we had dinner catered onboard with wine and really enjoyed each other. The view was spectacular of the sunset. Very romantic! Captain Dustin and his assistant were absolutely terrific. We WILL RETURN!!!! This is a MUST do if you are looking for something like this to do and you won't go wrong with this vessel and their crew. read more

As a local event planner, I have worked with Charleston Yachts for the last 6 years, and they ALWAYS take great care of our clients. Their boats are quite amazing -- especially the Fate sailboat and the Kismet yacht. They have so many wonderful amenities, from bathrooms on-board and non-alcoholic beverages. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgable-- and Dustin is very easy to communicate with when booking. Would highly recommend using them to get out on the water when visiting Charleston! read more

This was my first sailing experience in Charleston and it was absolutely wonderful! The Captain, Dustin was professional and extremely knowledgeable. We had a small group of 5 with more than enough room for all of us. The boat Fate is absolutely beautiful and comfortable for any type of occasion you wish to celebrate. It was such a great time and I definitely recommend it! read more

I seriously can't say enough good things about this private boat charter I booked for the group. They'll ask you where you'd like to go. So feel free to tell them what you'd like to see. What we booked is the Kizmet Private boat tour. As this boat will hold larger parties the sailboat can only accommodate I believe a total of 8. Check the details. This tour hour boat tour was guided by two young men. River born & raised in Charleston was immensely knowledgeable about the water, land and history of Charleston. One of the nice things you can do is order cocktails and apps or even a full meal to enjoy on the boat while you're out on the water. Talk about a relaxing & fun day. Make your reservations online for either a sailboat or Private charter. And book early! The Kizmet gets a ton of business from bachelorette parties so those bookings go fast. And check out Caviar & Bananas menu for ordering the food. Oh yeah did I mention they'll deliver right to the dock so ur cocktail is waiting for you when you board! I call that #winning. This is a must do! read more

Great time with a great captain. The sail boat was beautiful Anna we had a great time.

Can not recommend Charleston Sailing Charters highly enough!! I booked a charter on the Fate for my best friend's bachelorette, and Scott and Adam went above and beyond to make it fun and memorable. We had a ball hanging out with them and they couldn't have made it easier for us. (PS-- if you're nervous about weather, trust the captains. Forecast showed nonstop rain and despite my anxiety, just like Dustin assured me, we had a sunny, breezy cruise.) read more

This was the pinnacle of a celebratory birthday week in Charleston. The captain and the crew were amazing and customized our experience to our party. The Fate is a beautiful sailboat with several amenities. It was clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect excursion. The boat had water and sodas, but we brought beverages and snacks that we ordered from Caviar & Bananas, who were extremely helpful in helping us select our items - and they delivered them to our hotel. Very nice touch! The captain was very knowledgeable and gave us a very nice history lesson and some nautical pearls specific to the Ashley and Cooper Rivers. All in all a fantastic experience - forego the ghost tours and carriage rides and spend your excursion dollars here!! read more

We had a wonderful time sailing on Mystique for my birthday. The boat was gorgeous, very well maintained and had lots of space for our group of 6. Monique was absolutely the best and took great care of us. I appreciated that you could book everything online. We booked last minute and it was such an easy process. 100% recommend. read more

Sailing on Mystique was the absolute highlight of our trip to Charleston. We booked the sunset sail with Dustin & Jack and they could not have been more accommodating and fun to chat with. The boat was clean and obviously well maintained. We only wish we couldn't spent the whole day on Mystique. We will definitely be sailing with Charleston Yachts next time and will be telling all our friends to book a sail with them in the meantime. read more

Our sailing trip on the Fate was the highlight of our Charleston trip! I planned the trip for my husbands birthday, and it totally exceeded our expectations. This was a great way to get out on the harbor and see Charleston from a different perspective. The sailboat Fate itself is gorgeous and very clean and comfortable. 6 of us sat comfortably and enjoyed the cruise while Dustin and Daniel kept us fed, watered, and entertained with lots of environmental and historical info. The sound system was great too- accommodating iPhones for our own playlists or the boat had nice cruising music as well. We brought lots of snacks and wine and they provided some soda and water. We went out along Sullivans, past Fort Sumter, and then back through the bridge for some swim time. The Charleston Harbor Marina dock is a convenient location with parking available. I would highly recommend this experience for both locals and tourists. read more

Booked a 2-hour private harbor tour on the Kismet with Tyler & Monique, followed their recommendation for catering by Caviar & Bananas -- outstanding, personalized service and experience. Perfect amount of time for a leisurely cruise, brunch and swim. Highly recommend. read more

This is a great tour to go on, cause unlike other boat tours around the world, Captain Dustin actually lets you know about sailing, and will even let you get your hands on the wheel. I felt extremely safe, and even got to hear about different kind of adventures at sea that they have had. Well worth the trip. read more

Our plans for a sunset cruise were derailed by storms, but fortunately we were able to reschedule for morning cruise and it turned out to be a perfect sail! What a nice way to see Charleston from a different view and learn more about the history, the dolphins, the tides, etc. Captain Dustin and First Mate Nicole are fun and knowledgeable and made our friends from Germany so comfortable! I'd recommend a sail on The Fate to locals as well as visitors. read more

Our private boat trip on the Fate was the highlight of my sister's bachelorette! We booked the Fate well in advanced of our weekend in Charleston and I'm so glad we did. The boat is even more amazing than we had expected and even though the weather was a bit gray and overcast we had an amazing time. We even saw some dolphins! The service and captaining were excellent as well, Dustin and Daniel made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend taking a trip on the Fate if it's within your means and time. read more

Our day on the Kismet was excellent! The highlight of my cousin's bachelorette. The boat was amazing, perfect size for the 14 of us and had music and water/soda on board. We were allowed to bring our own drinks as well and the captains made sure we all always had a drink in our hands! It was truly such a fun experience -- would highly recommend and would definitely do it again! read more

Took the family on a beautiful morning cruise of the harbor. The weather was perfect and the crew were professional, knowledgeable and most welcoming. The boat is quite lovely and very clean. We went down to Charleston recently for a babymoon and sailing with Captain Dustin was the absolute highlight of the entire trip! The boat was beautiful and crew was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We felt right as home sailing along Charleston's shoreline. The icing on the already perfect cake we're the INCREDIBLE pictures Captain Dustin captured of me, my husband and our bun in the oven. I can't wait to show her these photos and take her back for her first sailing experience. A+++ to Captain Dustin and his crew, we could not have asked for better service or a better sail! read more

Must do! Captain Dustin was so fun and the boat is beautiful! We were able to sail to the bridge, take great photos, see dolphins and get out to swim. Was thinking about doing an open sail boat tour and this was so much better! Extremely happy with what we did. read more

Yesterday we sailed with Captain Dustin and First mate Evan. It was an outstanding experience! The sailboat is in excellent condition and we were very comfortable on board. Dustin and Evan are natural sailors and they make it all look so easy. We brought champagne and snacks on board and Evan served it to us when we were ready. It was perfectly windy that day and the boat sailed beautifully. We had never experienced Charleston from the water. Evan and Dustin will tell you a lot of the history of the waterfront, the fort, the bridges, other sailing vessels, the jettys, the lighthouses and much more. The sail lasted from 4 to 7:30. We saw a beautiful sunset. We highly recommend this charter. They are a class act. read more

Without a doubt, the best thing we did on our trip to Chucktown was charter the Fate with Captain Dustin and his firstmate Evan. They sail a beautiful boat, are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make the trip as enjoyable as possible for everyone on the boat. Evan even cut-up the cheese and bread the wives brought and delivered beers to my buddy and I all day. read more

The Kismet hosts 9 guests comfortably and has a bathroom on board. Our family (ages 6 through 90) enjoyed a wonderful evening cruise through the harbor. There is enough covered area to stay dry in case it rains (which it did for part of our trip). Great way to learn about local history and see Charleston from the water! read more

Our Sunday evening (6-9PM) sail for 6 was the highlight of our recent weekend in Charleston. We booked it as a 40th wedding anniversary to surprise our parents and they loved everything! We chose to bring our own food and drinks and as soon as we arrived Dustin and Evan made sure everything was kept cold and no one's glass was empty. They did a great job explaining the history of the city and some of the landmarks as we went by. The boat is fantastic and they're happy to let you explore it as much or as little as you want. Evan was especially great with some of the historical information which was huge for our dad. When it was time to eat the snacks we had brought the prepared them beautifully. All six of us would recommend them in a heartbeat! read more
