This storefront location provides the convenience of certified signatures and on-site advisers for fidelity accounts. The location itself is hospitable and clean. I've been twice and a Keurig was a nice touch (It was out of service the second time I visited). Bathrooms were clean, and two self-service computers were available for account management services. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, communicated well, and was able to help me with my signature certification as a walk-in within a few minutes. Both visits, I was able to park directly in front and be in and out in under 20 minutes. As a Fidelity Customer of many years, I appreciate the ability to walk in somewhere and receive assistance with my Fidelity accounts in person.

My kids (and their 4 cousins) inherited an IRA from their grandfather and we have spent 4 months trying to get them to distribute the funds to the beneficiaries. Every time you call you get a different answer, they say everything in the paperwork is fine, and then 5-10 days later nothing happens (they don't call by the way). It is 100% on you to keep calling every other day to find out if they have made yet another mistake and you get a different person who assures you that everything is NOW in order. Another 10 days go by, no information or communication, we call and get another person and they tell us that they "forgot" to liquidate the funds before sending to the distribution department. This is after we have done the paperwork multiple times (since they updated forms), called more than 50 times and now they want to speak to the beneficiaries again by phone to "confirm" they want distributions. Are you ^&*ing kidding me? What part of the numerous stacks of paperwork (written distributions forms) from the beneficiaries is unclear that they want to take their money out of Merrill Lynch? They are literally holding our funds hostage and we are seeking legal recourse at this point. They are either completely incompetent or criminals. Not sure which at this point. I consider myself a very patient person but the level of ineptitude in the "life services" department of Merrill Lynch has pushed me to my limits. I am a professional in the financial services field and I know that there are far better options for your retirement savings. Don't put your family/beneficiaries through this agony - go to Fidelity or Morgan Stanley.

You verify the bank Merrill excepts the bank but then send me a withdrawal in standard mail after being told it would go direct deposit I mean are we in the fucking stone age ? Yall didn't even have the decency to send me my statement or something telling me I processed a withdrawal I had to wake up the day I was supposed to get it to see Merrill lynch sent it regular mail. Then had to take 30 mins of my day to call yall and get this incompetent bull shit taken care of. Yall couldn't even give a valid reason. Oh it was a system glitch. Sounds like code for Merrill lunch fuck up to me. On top of that. I had to wait for this silly agent to get permission just to waive a fee to send the check ups. When your company fucks up on that level and you still seek an approval is beyond the definition of insanity. Merrill lynch has been the biggest inconvenience for me in my 401k history. Everyone around me is buying houses, getting nice cars, buying nice things - and there I was feeling hopeless and trying to come to terms with how careless I was and feeling like I'll never get the same opportunities as others because of my mistakes. I got denial after denial. Then I started trying to figure out a way to just start paying everyone off - that has to help my score right? Then, hopefully one day, I too could have nice things One day I was scrolling my phone and I came across an ad for a credit repair program. "We can help - don't let bad credit keep you from blah blah blah." I clicked it. Within seconds, I remembered why I never click those things. For the hell of it, I started reading reviews, trying to figure out if anyone has ever truly had a good experience with these people. Nope, just as I had assumed, REAL people had nothing positive to say. "They just take your money, my score never changed." "It's just a money pit, based on empty promises." About 2 pages into the reviews, some random dude posted about his experience with The Phenix Group. No one else was talking about this place. I looked up reviews for TPG and there was not a LOT, however, the ones that were there were GOOD ones. Nothing negative! So, I sent my info. What did I have to lose...if they end up being like everyone else I'll forget it and just move on, continuing to be depressed about my poor credit and the limitations it has brought me. Then came BRIAN QUINN. I'll be honest, during my 1st phone conversation with him, I was waiting for the part where he'd give some bogus spiel, ask for my money and then I'd hang up on him. But this wasn't the case! For once, I felt like I had a chance to get out of this hole I was in. From the start, Brian Q. was brutally honest - advising me that TPG can't help everyone and that once my credit report was reviewed, if he felt that in any way he wouldn't be able to help, he wouldn't go any further with me. Who wouldn't appreciate this honesty?! Now here we are, EXACTLY seven months from when Brian Q. first introduced himself to me via email, and working with him has been one of the best choices I have ever made. The initial deposit was doable and the monthly fee, even more doable. I felt like I was on the right track again and was working with someone who I COULD actually trust to look out for my best interests. Brian Q. has kept it real from day one, explaining to me the reality of how things might go and always taking the time to break things down for me in a way I can understand. He is on top of everything and I mean everything - nothing gets by him. I don't know how he does it. He is always available and is so proficient and timely. The best part is talking to him is just like holding a casual conversation with a friend. He is a genuine guy putting his knowledge of credit towards helping real people in real life situations.
