This is a very small and quaint credit union. We first came to know of this bank from a work…read moreassociate who recommended them for an auto loan. They deal with railroad employees well and have fair enough rates even for the lower credit score brackets. Their rates are a bit higher than others for the same credit scores unless you have immaculate credit, but they are always helpful and very personable, something you don't get at the big box banks. Janie was the one we deal with on a regular basis, she's always so kind and always remembers me on the odd occasion that I do come in. It's a very small branch and the only one they have. Worth a drive if you're in the railroad or other union industries that are accepted for the ease of financing smaller things. They do not do anything with mortgages or equity loans, just banking, some investing, signature loans, and auto loans.

I paid off almost all with less that half the last payment left 2 months. When I requested to refinance each time I was told the make the next payment then the refinance would be possible. It was not granted supposedly due to the late payments even though the payments was late just a few days. The payments made early or payments made before the due date should be more important than the payments that was a few days late. I owe less than half of my last payment and I will not continue any further business with this company or bother referring anyone who may need assistance. There is only 3 women at this location who all call customers requesting payments on the same days or daily even though customers have expressed concerns about these calls not being received on work numbers, or messages not being noted to refrain from several calls from all 3 each day. The initial payments is with high interest and I paid it before it was due. I'm glad I made the early payments because my credit score has gone up and finishing it this month will add a few more points to my credit score so closing it afterwards will be a benefit. There is no online payment option. It's not open later than 6:30 pm or on weekends. So payments due on weekends will be late but still will be counted as a late payment. If you work and CANNOT receive personal calls, they still will call.
