Menus in English and German. Extensive wine list with wine from around the world. Chose the sampler appetizer plate. Great assortment of many of there dishes. Shishito peppers, eggplant, and burrata were the best but it was all good. Lots of steak options from local to overseas, especially wagyu. My Australian filet was excellent. Cooked perfectly and chose a sauce (Béarnaise) just to try it and it was sport on. Everyone else liked their steak and lamb chops. Sides were also delicious, especially their truffle and truffle fries. Dessert sampler was perfect for sharing. Small little cups of mist of their choices. Cream brûlée and the chocolate lava cake being the best.

My German was from a long time ago and not very fluent, so wading through the menu yielded us a dinner of sorts. The Cold Mezze Platter came with a beautiful assortment of dips including tzatziki, melitzanosalata (eggplant salad), taramosalata (fish roe dip), dolmas, feta, gigantes salad, marinated red peppers, and pickled peppers, and everything went nicely with the basket of bread on the side. The Pikalia was an assortment of hot appetizers including breaded eggplant/zucchini, grilled peppers, and a crispy roll stuffed with cheese. First of all, this restaurant shares a kitchen with a Michelin-starred restaurant below it, if that tells you anything. Secondly, it is attached to the Hilton Hotel, which is one of the coolest I've ever stayed in, and doubles as the breakfast area for the hotel guests in the morning. We arrived in Munich fairly late in the evening, for an overnight stop before the last leg of our journey home to the US. We were tired and hungry, and luckily the restaurant kept fairly late hours and was still open for dinner. We came in and were very impressed by the space. Our waiter, Daniel, was great! He was so nice and helpful throughout our meal. We decided to order one last traditionally German meal, so I ordered the Spaetzle and my husband had the wienerschnitzel. Both were excellent! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, so we also ordered a side of grilled vegetables and sweet potato fries. Everything was incredibly tasty, but we couldn't finish it all! I told Daniel how full we were, and he brought over a complimentary aperitif-style drink to help with the digestion. It somehow did almost immediately, which was great! Overall we had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend if you need a quick bite near the Munich airport!

Moreover, the manager took care of me and was actually very kind - so I am changing the rating since I loved my meal. The restaurant is well decorated and the host allowed me to take any seat - which is great, I took a nice bench near the Christmas tree. So I sat - probably 10-15 minutes before greeted by a server (no issue for me). Ordered Prosecco and then my meal straight away, Wiener schnitzel. It arrived with an unexpected starter (couscous and shrimp). The meal was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, not greasy, ample lemon, a side salad and perfect side potatoes. Buttery and perfectly sautéed onions. And that was it. That was the last time I saw my server. I waited over 40 minutes after my plate being cleared and nobody approached me. With an empty glass, the whole time. No offer for a drink. No waitress passing by to ask for help. Over forty minutes. I had hoped to order more Prosecco and the chocolate cake- but on the bright side ... should you decide to visit here, I'll still be sitting here. Near the Christmas tree.
