We were married in the Long Green Valley area (indoor cocktail hour, outside tented reception, approx. 120 guests). We paid a tribute to our home states; accolades to FL/MD were important to us! During the cocktail hour mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres were served. Enormous shrimp cocktail, conch fritters, smoked fish spread, and more! Noting their incredible knack for detail having hors d'oeuvres served in a manner that didn't require cutlery was suggested for the comfort/convenience of our guests! Marvelous touch! We wanted to serve a buffet dinner, but not lose the feeling of loveliness and charm. Salads were plated and served at the tables. Dinner offered flavorful beef tenderloin, amazing MD rockfish, delectable crab mac and cheese, and more! The food was fresh, fragrant, abundant, and hot. The buffet items were served in beautifully striking white platters which were absolutely exquisite on our linens. The wedding cake was a dream - gorgeous, three-tier, timeless. Berger cookies and key lime tarts were also served to nod to our theme. Panache provided all dessert items and created a show-stopping presentation! The service was first-rate! The servers were efficient, skilled, experienced, and professional. Most notably Buddy (owner) is brilliant, patient, creative, inspiring, and a truly kindhearted man. He listens, is involved, and sincerely cares about his clients. He met with me many times, visited our venue multiple times, and was present on our wedding day from start to finish! Through this experience, he has become a friend to our family. We feel fortunate to have worked with Panache on our wedding day. It would not have been what it was without their incredibly topnotch, reliable, and exceptional service. We have found a lasting relationship with Panache, we eagerly look forward to working with them again, and we send our most sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to Panache. I strongly urge you to use Panache for your wedding day or any very special occasion; you will be so very delighted that you did!!

She helped us get better deals on aspects of our big day, figure out how to get what we wanted within budget, and mapped out every detail to perfection. Sarah made sure that everything was planned in a way that made the most sense and following her guidance led us to a day I dreamed of. When there were hiccups with a bartender being out due to COVID, she was quick to come up with a solution and I didn't even know of the issue until after the night was over. Sarah handled everything on the day-of, even transporting our personal décor, so I only had to concentrate on being with my people and soaking it all in. On top of all of that, the food was AMAZING. I would eat their short ribs for every meal and the fennel and ricotta flatbread was to die for. Everyone says you don't eat at your own wedding but Chef's Expressions made sure we got served a little of EVERYTHING so we got to eat every single dish at our wedding and they were all phenomenal. I didn't think pasta would hold up well served en masse but the pesto especially was really phenomenal. Every hors d'oeuvres, station, and dessert was delicious. Our cake was also provided through Chef's Expressions and was one of the best wedding cakes I had ever eaten. Sarah and the team at Chef's Expressions at the Manor do a phenomenal job and I would recommend them to everyone looking for phenomenal food on a reasonable budget.

They were super flexible with the changes that we had to make. During these unprecedented times, it was refreshing to work with a company that was understanding of the challenges we were facing with wanting to keep everyone safe, and then again when my baby's due date was a mere 2 weeks after one of the dates we had scheduled. Our experience with planning was fabulous as well. They responded to all of our questions and concerns within a timely manner. They invited us to their location to work with us to come up with a menu. They had a few snacks prepared for my husband and I. They asked several questions about our vision for the wedding, about any allergies or special diets that might require a special meal. They even let us know that they could prepare some staples for a children if we needed (we had no need to take advantage of that). They were also able to ensure that my favorite wine would be available at the event as part of the bar package. Once we had the menu planned, we were able to schedule a tasting for the event a few months out. They encouraged us to invite my in-laws to the event as well (which we did, and my FIL really enjoyed being able to take part in that with us.) They prepared the entire menu for the 3 of us, and confirmed that everything was perfect for our wedding, and it was. They also had linens set out for us to pick from. When I gave them the colors for my wedding, they were able to pick a few different options for us. They also were able to suggest ways to make the linens the most cost effective for us. The day of the wedding went perfectly. Our ceremony was at 7pm, and they arrived to begin setting up at 5pm. They set up for the ceremony. As we walked around the venue for cocktail hour, I was able to spot tables prepared for them to switch the ceremony space to the reception space. This was done within an hour, and went so smoothly. Nobody was standing around waiting for them to switch things over. They also set up my centerpieces, card box, guest book, seating chart, and table numbers. I didn't have to put someone in charge of worrying about that, and was able to have peace of mind that it was taken care of. When packing everything up, they also packed up everything for us as well so we could retrieve it the next day. Every single person I interacted with was super helpful, kind, and respectful. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We used Classic to cater our wedding. To be honest, we feel a bit mixed about the experience. TLDR:…read morewe wound up giving four stars because although our bar situation was a disaster, food is more important and the food was better than most other wedding food. The food - as foodies, we felt like Classic gave us very good wedding food (but it fell short of very good restaurant food). During our tasting, we were pretty blown away by the food -- all the flavors were excellent and all the food was perfectly cooked. Day of, a lot of the food was overcooked, and things were under sauced, so we missed a lot of the flavors from our tasting. The food was certainly better than most other weddings I've been to, but if I would have gotten the food at a restaurant I would have been disappointed. I know it's really difficult to cook in bulk. (FWIW though, people really loved the mashed potatoes -- and were still talking about them a week later.) We were also extremely pleased with how Classic handled dietary restrictions. We had a number of people with restrictions, and everyone was able to eat, and no one got sick. They even worked with us to make our whole menu gluten free so that all of our (many) celiac guests could partake. The drinks - our drinks were a disaster. And I think part of this is because our catering manager switched just a few months before the wedding. Our original catering manager had allowed us to create our own cocktail recipes. We love mixology so it felt very fitting for our wedding. We wanted our wedding to feel like a cocktail bar and not just have the standard wedding cocktail. However, our new catering manager pretty much lost her mind when she heard this, saying it's never done. Our conversations were weird, and we never figured out what the issues were so we assumed it was reluctance to do something different and thought they'd figure it out. However, it seems the issues were the bartenders can barely make a drink. Although we sent VERY specific recipes, i think only one of the bartenders followed them. The first drink I was given when I came down to my cocktail hour was supposed to be a lavender chamomile play on a French 75. But what I was actually given was lemon juice, soda, and gin. I literally spit it out, and had a mild panic attack that my guests were being served undrinkable drinks for our whole cocktail hour. It turns out, that only one bartender was making undrinkable drinks (and they continued to for most of the evening). Another one was making ok drinks, and one was making drinks correctly. No one could remember which bartender was making which drinks, so everyone remarked how inconsistent our drinks were. A number of times people had to toss drinks because they picked the wrong bartender. I was also pretty pissed that although we had confirmed with our planner and classic a half a dozen times that they would pass drinks during cocktail hour, they never did. Afterwards my planner said it was because the drinks were too complicated. But they could have passed wine, or beer, or prebatched drinks (which we thought they were doing). We really didn't want a line at the bar, and there was one, so a month later, I'm still fuming about the disaster that was the bar. I think had we had more time, or better communication from the new catering manager, we could have worked something out that would have worked for us and them. But, instead, trying not to piss us off, I think she gave in knowing they couldn't hold up their end of the bargain. The service - the service (aside from the bar and our catering manager) was good. All the catering staff were very kind, and rushed like crazy to finish our room flip. We appreciated that they designate one server just for the bride and groom! The process - Our process was a bit of a mess because of the catering manager flip. But, were it not for that, I think it would have gone pretty smoothly. Classic are def pros at putting on events. We were happy with the process before the switch. Afterwards, we didn't really jive with the new catering manager, who was much more rigid than the original one. We might have been less off put by this, but, she also wasn't great at communicating the reasons behind her "nos" or "yes, with reservations". Our planner had told us that your classic experience very much depends on your catering manager, and based on our experience with two of them, that seems accurate.

He only had 6 staff, three of which were University of Maryland students who knew nothing about set up, break down, presentation etc... it was a very ungracious level of service. Tables perpetually were filled with dirty plates and glasses. 2. she specifically discussed not having a tip cup at the bar, I walked out to find one anyway, and bar tenders said Brendon allowed it 3. most of the food was frozen, or Purchased from a store like Costco, her " Grilled protein mains-chicken, beef and shrimp-were pregrilled and cold (actually the shrimp looked raw), all of his salad dressing were bottled dressings from the grocery store (appaulling). At the end of the evening someone side swiped one of his staffs car (staff was parked on a public street) that was the end of work for the staff member and the other two staff he transported that day, leaving cleanup to Brendon and his two bartenders.... They didn't fully clean the kitchen, not a single counter was wiped, nor the floor swept, and the two desserts provided by me and a guest were just left for us to clean. garbage wasn't emptied , rentals not packed and back together. My family came the next day and broke down all the tables and chairs. In the end, what could have been a spectacular wedding (decor was stunning, and the band great) was only beautiful. I read all of Brendon credentials, but his food didn't reflect his credentials at all and his service was ungracious and lacking. Anyone hiring him should make sure all details discussed and agreed to are then actually transferred and written into the contract. To have to clean up a wedding as a guest in my wedding cloths was horrible. I actually wanted to cry.....not to mention what it meant to my sister I her bridal gown
