We owe so much gratitude and recognition to the incredibly talented catering team at Panache Fine Catering! We were married in the Long Green Valley area (indoor cocktail hour, outside tented reception, approx. 120 guests). We paid a tribute to our home states; accolades to FL/MD were important to us! During the cocktail hour mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres were served. Enormous shrimp cocktail, conch fritters, smoked fish spread, and more! Noting their incredible knack for detail having hors d'oeuvres served in a manner that didn't require cutlery was suggested for the comfort/convenience of our guests! Marvelous touch! We wanted to serve a buffet dinner, but not lose the feeling of loveliness and charm. Salads were plated and served at the tables. Dinner offered flavorful beef tenderloin, amazing MD rockfish, delectable crab mac and cheese, and more! The food was fresh, fragrant, abundant, and hot. The buffet items were served in beautifully striking white platters which were absolutely exquisite on our linens. The wedding cake was a dream - gorgeous, three-tier, timeless. Berger cookies and key lime tarts were also served to nod to our theme. Panache provided all dessert items and created a show-stopping presentation! The service was first-rate! The servers were efficient, skilled, experienced, and professional. Most notably Buddy (owner) is brilliant, patient, creative, inspiring, and a truly kindhearted man. He listens, is involved, and sincerely cares about his clients. He met with me many times, visited our venue multiple times, and was present on our wedding day from start to finish! Through this experience, he has become a friend to our family. We feel fortunate to have worked with Panache on our wedding day. It would not have been what it was without their incredibly topnotch, reliable, and exceptional service. Don't look any further! Panache Fine Catering is absolutely fabulous! Buddy and his team (Eb and Julie) MADEour party a success, no question about it. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Buddy. He made planning my parent's 50th wedding anniversary so easy and fun. From the moment I reached out to him, he was both kind and responsive. He really got to know me and what I envisioned for our evening. He took plenty of time to meet with me at my home, think through each aspect of the party, had many great suggestions and planned a menu that not only suited those with food allergies but was also SO delicious! He is very creative and can go way beyond any standard menu options. Our party was during the summer, and we did not have enough seating for a sit down dinner. Therefore, Buddy came up with appetizers that were passed around by a server, easy enough to pick up with one hand, and a beautiful buffet, easy enough to eat on your lap if needed. The food was mouthwatering and perfect for a hot summer night. He took care of the linens, plates, flatware, glasses, serving dishes, everything! He caters to whatever you need, your vision and your budget. We threw a party for about forty people and NOT ONE person left without raving about the food and the service. Having someone come into your home is not always easy, but I felt completely at ease and confident with Buddy. They were very professional, made themselves at home, without being in the way, while also making sure everyone was taken care of - not an easy feat! These folks are just terrific. They have catered our private and business events for the past twelve years or so, and every thing they've done for us has been both original and wonderful. In all of our menus we've given free rein to Buddy's French culinary heritage and we have never been sorry --- the food not only tastes great, it looks beautiful as well. Our guests always rave about it. (You can definitely trust his judgment on the wine pairings as well --- He even designed a signature cocktail for my mother's birthday affair that was a huge hit.) Just as importantly for us as hosts, we really appreciate Buddy's calm composure and soothing manner from event planning through the event itself. Our wedding dinner was catered by Panache and couldn't have been lovelier; the food was exceptional, the service was perfectly smooth and unobtrusive, and the entire planning process was easy...and very fun. Buddy listened carefully to all of our input and then seamlessly wove in our vision to what he knew was in season and would work best for the venue and the event. We had an idea of what we wanted and Buddy and his entire team executed it beyond what we could have asked for ourselves. He also is full of wise advice from all of his years of catering about simple ways to ensure that all guests would be happy, regardless of food allergies--we didn't give guests options for their meal, so Buddy had a elegant and thoughtful plan for having alternatives on-hand and ready to go, should anyone prefer vegetarian, fish, etc. or be gluten-free. I couldn't recommend Panache highly enough, not only for the exceptional food but the level of service and the experience of being lucky enough to meet and get to know Buddy, who is a generous-hearted, kind, and extremely talented individual. read more

i generally consider the wedding industry a horror show in which love and harmony are slowly sucked from a once-happy couple. buddy at panache has challenged this view. he was lovely and straightforward to work with. his menus were creative and his prices reasonable, and then on the day he adjusted calmly and brilliantly when a biblical deluge hit shortly before the dinner (planned for outside). he adjusted again with equal skill when ceremony and meal were delayed by an important guest who was lost in said deluge. after these and other last-minute seeming crises, he and his team still turned out all manner of fresh, healthy, locally sourced food that looked great and tasted even better--which is to say, food that was the inverse of typical wedding food, and just what the bride and groom had hoped for. the guests arrived miserable and drenched but left happy. read more
