Just left this gas station after filling up my tank only to find out that I was charged an…read moreadditional $100.00 fee on top of my fuel charge. My total came to over $120.00. It's important to note that I used my debit card on the pump outside and entered my pin like I do every other time I fill up. After seeing my bank statement I immediately returned to the store to hopefully get an explanation and a refund of my money. I was told that this is essentially a hold on my money by the store. Some sort of "insurance policy" if you will, and that I would be refunded my money after a 24 hour period. The clerk actually told me that this was "nationwide." I've never heard of such a thing. No one I have talked with has heard of this either. There was nothing posted as far as I could tell that explained their $100.00 money grab tactic. If I would have seen such a posting, my business would have been taken elsewhere. Part of me thinks that they know this and would rather not disclose to the customer that there are going to hold all that money for a day. I have used this gas station on many occasions and will be taking my business elsewhere from here out. This is NOT as common as they would like to believe. It is tricky and deceitful. This "nationwide" policy should be posted at the pumps. PLEASE BE ADVISED: After using a debit card at their pumps, a $100.00 fee will be added to your account for 24 hours. Steer Clear!

Now it fulfills the basics of being a grocery store. It has food, household goods, booze, and staff. Now what really makes it different is that last one, STAFF. They are truly helpful and seek out shoppers to help. I am always greeted with a hello (some even greet me by name now) and they are genuine. The real thing that impressed me is they carry some things I love that are hard to find elsewhere (Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup for one) and if they do not have it, they will order it and it gets there fast! Another plus is they no have a loyalty program where you earn points and earn a discount coupon. This is a first for Sun Fresh. So if you are moving to the Nashua area, forget the schools (they are also great), it's all about the grocery store.
