I have worked with two great Physical Therapists and two great Occupational Therapists. OT's were Roxy and Jorge (George) and the PT's are Dr. Calvin Baxter and Suki. Suki is the one I am currently working with. I am a difficult case in the sense I have a ton of stuff going on (had several surgeries over the last 6 years and not the best help until I found these folks). What I love about this group is that they are constantly learning. I need a PT with dry needling experience. Dr. Baxter and Suki have that. Also what I love is that the PT's spend time with you. Once the Tech's take over, the PT's are available should a problem arise or if there are a questions. The Tech's are great as well. They guide us and assist us to make sure we are doing the exercises correctly. They are a great support as well. They listen and help according to whatever the need is. Lastly, White Oak Physical Therapy is a community therapy office that treats me like a private practice. By the way, I have been coming for the last two months (during the Covid-10 Pandemic). The Owner has created an extremely safe place for his staff and clients. The entire staff wear masks. The physical therapists wear scrubs, face masks and face shields. Temperatures are taken as soon as you walk in the door. Sanitizer is available. All equipment and machines are sanitized after each and every use. It is definately a safe haven for those that wish to return and those that need a place to get receive rehabilitation help.

I am confident that I will continue to make progress to travel and walk to my seat on an airplane. You are not just a number to them, they care and will work with you to treat your condition and help you meet your recovery goals. I recommend this center. They are a great group of therapists.

As a klutz, I fell and broke and tore ligaments in my foot and sprained my ankle a few months back…read more Someone had told me "if you can walk on it it's not broken" so I walked on it for five weeks before going to the doctor and I learned that no, you absolutely can walk on a broken foot. Pro tip. Anyway. After two months in a boot my foot was worse than it was before (from my perspective) in that parts that didn't hurt before the boot did and of course I'd lost ALL strength and range in it. How much was from the boot and how much from the original injury hard to say. Anyway, it was at this point that my doctor recommended PT and sent me to Optimal. Hadassa took my case and she is great; over the past three months or so she's gotten the strength and range of motion in my ankle back to what it needed to be. I still have some issues with the foot that I think are deeper (pun intended) than what PT alone can resolve so I'm off to get a second opinion on that. But, I highly recommend Optimal if you need PT. I've worked mostly with Hadassa but also with Paula and Nicole, and all are excellent therapists as well as kind and caring people. What really makes Optimal stand out though is the people and the environment. I've been to probably half a dozen PT facilities over the years and as far as I can tell they've all been good at what they do, but not going to lie, it's usually boring as heck doing PT. But you won't be bored at Optimal. There is just something far more *social* about Optimal than any of the other PT places I've been, that's totally separate from the quality of the therapy (which of course is there, and is the most important thing) - but I can honestly say I never *looked forward* to going to PT before. But I've gotten to know the therapists and their assistants and even several of the other "regulars", and now that I've been released I'm going to miss hearing about everyone's adventures. I've learned it's absolutely possible to be both professional in medicine and have fun doing it, so Optimal is going to be my PT of choice next time I break myself. Which, who are we kidding, probably won't be that long since I'm a klutz.

The therapists periodically reassess clients' progress adding and subtracting exercises to help clients get stronger. Best of all, smiles and laughter abound. This is a great place.

I was so focused on location that I wasn't considering other factors, such as recovery and the best program for me. I needed more than a chiropractor who could perform physical therapy. I didn't realize the first place I visited didn't have physical therapists on staff. My stereotype of a chiropractor is someone who snaps your neck and walks on your back (slight exaggeration). My doctor suggested ATI. I walked into a clean, organized space. Everyone was in uniform. All of the furniture matched. The patient tables were in great condition and looked like my "stereotype" of a physical therapy office. There were crisp, white towels folded under each patient table. The exercise equipment looked new (so that's what exercise equipment looks like). There was a candy dish on the counter (I KNOW what a candy dish is). The physical therapist was kind and patient. He asked great questions about each area of pain. Even though Christopher *tortured me and I wanted to punch him, he was awesome. *Torture, i.e. lightly touched my injured areas and had me do baby exercise movements. He took detailed notes on all of my decrepedness and really paid attention to what I was saying about my injuries. When his light touch was too much, he would give me a break. After each "torture" session, you get heat treatment. Yummy! I have more treatments to go but I feel good about my decision to visit this place. I just want to be in the best condition possible so I can clean my house without being in pain. It still hurts to laugh hard.......

Doctor Mohammad seemed very a experienced and was also friendly and pleasant. The woman at the front desk was also friendly and pleasant. I see some very negative reviews but they appear to be from many years ago so probably whatever was wrong has turned around.

His in-house physical therapist (Christian Bernard) is really good and the ones who didn't treat me seem good too. Would go again for any other orthopedic injury.
