I paid over $3000 for this Gutter Guys of Vero Beach to install whole house gutters to solve a…read moredrainage issue in one of my side yards on a newly constructed 2024 house. It didn't solve that specific drainage problem until I paid another $400 for them to install a 20' underground run from their installed downspout to a pop up drain in the yard. They charged us $20 a ft and it solved the initial drainage problem that caused us to have gutters installed. However, unknown to us at the time was that the installation of the gutters was now going to cause a different drainage issue on the other side of the house that had not existed before the gutters were installed. A few months later two recent downpours caused my pool deck and lanai to flood with 2" of water due to their poor selection of a downspout location on the other side of the house. It was easy to determine that when Gutter Guys of Vero Beach installed a downspout right next to another existing builder downspout for the screened pool enclosure and inches from the pool deck drain, it was now too much water pouring into that one location. I called them to come back and install a pop up drain like they did on the opposite side of the house, but now the price was $800 for just 9 linear feet. That works out to $89 a ft just a few months later. When I questioned this ridiculous price increase they said that the increase was due to their materials costs. In summary they installed a gutter system that created a really bad drainage issue and they don't stand behind their work.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!!!! A Hannibri rep came to quote a specific job at our home. They sent a young…read morelady in pigtails who climbed in our attic and took pictures of different areas and noted the issues. She told us that day there was only one area that needed immediate attention (the one we called about). They came back with a ridiculous $$10k+ quote saying we had several "urgent" areas of concern but provided no pictures except for the original area we called about. We said that's not what we were told by the girl and asked to speak with her directly and see pictures. We were told anyone could answer our questions. No one ever called us. We also noticed in small print additional unknown charges for each area of concern with a grand total of approx $$17k. We inquired about these add'l charges and asked if there would be someone on the job that could communicate if further work would be necessary and the additional charges would occur. The office mgr, Melissa, was clearly irritated by our inquiries and extremely rude to us! She said "they don't work that way" but she would pass along our concerns. So long story short, basic communication and transparency is an issue for this company. They did not want to provide information or pictures for the quote nor could we speak further with anyone. They just wanted to send a crew out and we blindly accept the work and charges with no questions asked. BTW, we were also told by the girl rep that our roof only had about 4 years of life left (we didn't believe that). None of this is okay when you're talking about $$10-17k in repairs on a roof that needs a full roof replacement in 4 years. To make matters worse, our roof was leaking and they never ever called back because we wanted clarification. Very disappointed in Hannabri's poor business practices. Silver lining, we got a roofer with 40+ years experience who did a tremendous job and disclosed everything to us. Thankfully, our roof does not need replacing and there really was only one issue which cost us $2100.... God was watching! Again, beware of this company, especially if they are not forthcoming with detailed information and charges.

But he got up on the roof, inspected the gutters, took pictures and just cleared away a few feet of dead leaves. You know I will be calling Douglass Restoration in the future. He's so nice, in fact, I am tempted to invite him and his wife for dinnah!
