My Florida Roofing Contractors selected on their own accord and without my authorization to void a verbal contract and create a written contract that ultimately would increase their profit. I was presented with a "Vague" written contract, that did Not describe precise window locations or diagrams. I was assured that what I was signing coincided with what was verbally agreed upon. When I questioned COO, Maxine Reyes, I was informed that My Florida Roofing was Not obligated to provide the aforementioned details via the written contract. Maxine Reyes informed me that the information I was requesting was filed at the office for their purpose. Know this is Deception. Deception and Cohesion are Regulatory Violations. This is serious. Consumers are protected by Chapter 489 of Florida Statutes. Additionally we are Protected by the Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. Be aware. Do Not be manipulated. Threats of placing a lien against your property or stating you are ultimately responsible financially for windows you have not agreed to, are ways in which Maxine Reyes attempts to intimidate. Many Grant recipients are Seniors and/or disabled individuals. Many have limited incomes. My Florida Roofing Contractors exploit Grant recipients and the Grant process. They altered my contract and ordered a smaller and a less expensive window to increase their profit. The customer is Never required to accept damaged merchandise. My Florida Roofing must be Accountable and Responsible for their unethical practices. There should be consequences for the regulatory violations they have participated in. Be aware, My Florida Roofing will have their attorney contact you, once you speak out against their unethical tactics. It is Maxibe Reyes' intention to intimidate you so that you will not file a complaint with the state.
