When it came time to find a wedding photographer for our big day, it was a no brainer! We love you, Sweet Mango! On the day of, Ricky arrived much EARLIER than we paid for, because he wanted to capture as much of the getting ready process as possible. We're super grateful for this, and he got tons of great photos we would not otherwise have! From the moment he walked into our hotel suite, he was all action, camera out, and ready to take photos. For this day, and for all of our other shoots with Sweet Mango, he gave great directions on how to pose for photos, was so creative with how he framed his shots, and flexible and adapted to the sun/weather/background and whatever other obstacles may come his way. Even though we did not get a second shooter and he single handedly had to cover the entire venue and all 100 guests at our event, including an entire lion dance troupe, he rose to the occasion and did just that and much more. They're really experienced and know what they're doing. Peter specializes in taking great, classic portraits. His lighting was great, he was timely with emails and seems quite organized. When choosing your photographer you of course must like his style, and then have a good personality fit. If you really like a natural, classic style then Peter is a great fit. My husband and I don't like pictures that seem overly processed. Peter sent our wedding pictures in a case with a lovely photo on the cover. We ordered thank you fine art cards as well- I'd recommend getting those in black and white instead of color. We plan on ordering several albums from Peter as well. His samples are beautiful! His prices are really, really reasonable as well and we hope to retain him for future family photos!
