I'm a first time young mom so I had a lot of questions that I didn't trust google to answer and they were always very kind when answering them for me. Every time I called they answered. Dr. Van Riper was open about every procedure down to my delivery and it really put me at ease. I was an induction and he made it a point to come at 10 o'clock at night to check my catheter. Something the nurses could have done but he wanted to see how we were doing. If I could recommend anyone it would be him and his staff. And his head nurse Marie is the absolute best and my favorite. My husband and I will never go through a pregnancy without them. Thank y'all for everything.

Due to the rush my grandson now has a fractured shoulder and a tube down his throat into his stomach due to swallowing birth fluids. He is the first male Gynecologist I have ever had and at first I was skeptical but he was fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone. My second visit there, my schedule had been messed up. I had called to change it weeks prior, but I guess whomever took the call did not change it in their system. So I show up early for my appointment and sign in, notice all these folks are being taken in before me. 15 mins after my appointment time, I go to find out what was the matter and I was informed my appointment was 2 days prior. I said No, I had called in and it was confirmed that I was indeed there at the right time. One of the front desk ladies got me a little more irate than I would normally get because she acted like I was trying to look at people's information when I was just looking at the sign-in sheet to see where my name was. In my mind, I'm like why have it there in the open if you don't want people to see it? And then try to make it seem like I violated you. That's YOUR bad, not mine. I was really annoyed because it was supposed to be a "quick procedure" I was there for over 2 hours (which I got "written up" for at work because I was only supposed to be out an hour).
