I'm not one to go out of my way to leave a Yelp review. I rarely use this platform, but when I do…read moreit almost always involves getting a recommendation. This time I'd like to give one. If you're in need of electrical work then Elijah (Eli) of Precise Price Electrical is the guy you should call. He did some work for us a couple years back, and at that time showed my husband a simple fix he could do himself which saved us even more money. Remembering Eli's professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge, I called on him again for a bigger job which he just completed. Having owned an older home (built in 1948) the past past 29 years means we've been through our share of replaced appliances, upgrades to both the inner and outer structures, a kitchen remodel in 2007, and a new roof and whole house remodel completed in 2018. We've dealt with countless plumbers, HVAC guys, stucco experts, tree removal companies, carpenters, painters, concrete pros -- you name it. Most of our experiences have been satisfactory, but none of them can compare to the work provided by Eli of Precise Price Electrical. Eli just replaced an outdated panel and ran a new line to a malfunctioning outlet. This job required him (and forgive my non-electrician terminology) to run a line from our main breaker-box to a sub breaker-box. He had to bring lines through our "non existent" attic crawl space and underneath our house as well. I'm more than pleased because NOW I can put a wine fridge in my kitchen . Eli is a courteous, hardworking, and consummate professional with the kind of experience required to complete your job. He will show up promptly with a smile on his face; he won't be stingy with his knowledge or time; and he will get you back up and running -- whatever your electrical woe. High Praise for Elijah -- Eli at Precise Price Electrical!!

Thanks Eli! You have a customer for life. Jesse in Granite Bay

Called Gilwee and spoke Chris and he suggested calling SMUD but said to call him back depending on what they had to say. Well I called SMUD and the guy was super unhelpful. Had me flip all the breakers including the big one then I couldn't get it to flip back. He then says it's an issue with the panel and to call an electrician . Called Chris back and he was so kind and SUPER helpful and walked me through getting the breaker flipped back (he said you have to throw your body weight into it lol) Got it back on then he walked me through how to find the outlet in the garage to reset it. He didn't have to do that and went out of his way to help me!!! If I ever need actual electrical work I will 100% call Gilwee and absolutely recommend to anyone!

This guy deserves to get a great review on here. I had him and one other electrician come out to…read moregive me free estimates to install 3 pendant lights and 3 recessed canned (gimble) lights above the couch. Actually, Joe is the one that came out and did a thorough estimate, emailing me a detailed copy soon after. The other guy, from Folsom Lake Electric, took the info over the phone and sent me an estimate. Both estimates were pretty close to each other, but because Folsom Lake Electric had lots of good reviews on Yelp, and Eilhardt didn't have any yet, I decided to go with FLE. It was actually about 5 mos after I got the estimates that I finally decided to get the job done. I emailed Mike at FLE, telling him I was ready to go, but didn't hear back. Had to email several times. Finally, I heard back but they then said he'd have to come out to do the estimate before first, even though I emailed his original estimate to him. Turns out his original estimate didn't include actually installing the pendant lights, just wiring for them. Huh? Why wouldn't you naturally include that in the estimate?? So, his price jumped up $100. Time to go with Joe at Eilhardt instead! Joe came on time, had everything he needed, got all 6 lights wired for and installed - beautifully - in a timely fashion, all on dimmers, and charged EXACTLY what he said he'd charge on the estimate! No surprises! He checked with me on every decision and option as he went along. We had talked before about the gimble lights and he said they were halogen. I didn't want halogen because of the heat they generate, so he said he could get me LED for x amount more money, as those bulbs are more expensive. He was totally accurate on that too. He was friendly, focused, and did a beautiful job, and I LOVE my new lights. He did leave a small area for the access hole that will need a little spackle and touch up paint, but he told me about it up front, and it's something that any electrician would have had to do. FLC had mentioned a repair would be needed too. I highly recommend Joe Eilhardt and will gladly go back to him in a heartbeat for any other electrical needs. There were other good points I could include here, but the review is getting too long. It's nice to have someone I can trust!
