This is a safe location with lighting and many shoppers. There are also over 20 chargers at this location so even if it is a busy time you will likely not have to wait for long. I would recommend this location. Also there are 2 more Superchargers on the way to Lake Tahoe. One near highway 50 and the exit for Missouri Flat Rd and another one a bit further north in Placerville. Also I highly recommend you max your charge before leaving this area because once we got so caught up with sightseeing we n the mountains near Lake Tahoe that we forgot to charge!!!! There are less Superchargers once you are in the mountains. Luckily we found another supercharger near Donner Lake but barely made it.

Interesting items I found: whole Mexican papayas, fresh coconut juice in the shell, freshly squeezed orange juice, meat pizza, delicious birthday cake with whipped icing, machine that gives out household samples to name a few. They were not able to get either working so I could charge. Beyond frustrating. I have never been able to get an EVGo charger to work without having to contact customer service (multiple locations) but this time they were unable to get it to work. So now I'm in the mountains having to find a different charger. If I didn't have a big credit for EVGo from my car it chase I would never consider using them!

It is on the larger sized outlets. While the hunt for unique local items was unsuccessful, as expected, the staff is the typical friendly and on point. It also is well designed as the gas station is far enough away to de-conflict the main parking lot Aside from that as always we have rules we follow The RULES! 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

There's even a little free library in section B located near the candy store. The main place to go for food is Auntie Annie's which has pretzels. There's a candy store and a cafe too. They also have food trucks. They have a small arcade with a decent selection of games that can be enjoyed by all ages. It's located near the toy store which also has games for children and teenagers to play. The sales here are not as great as they used to be. Some stores will only have good deals certain times of the year such as back to school season. Aeropostale and Vanz sometimes have great deals and clearance prices. I got a dress from Aeropostale about 8 years ago for $11. A few years ago, I got a cute knit sweater for $20. The hot topic store usually only has the bogo 30% sale. The staff in these stores are usually really friendly and helpful. The outlets are located right by the iron point light rail stop. Parking here on weekends can be tricky as the parking lot does fill up.
