I like it here. I go in for annuals and follow ups regarding ongoing gynecology concerns. I do not…read morecome in for OB so I can't speak to that. Dr. Thomas is quick but thorough, seems to genuinely care about her patients and their symptoms and goals! I feel in good hands with the sonography staff-- very informative, kind, and safe environment. The admin/secretary/front desk staff are so so friendly and welcoming-- I really admire that because OBGYN visits can be very nerve wracking for some individuals! Having that smiling face as the first interaction makes a huge difference. As for my point reduction.... What I will say about this office, typical for many clinics, is that they are busy and may not be as on top of administrative stuff as you'd want them to be. I've had to advocate for myself here, as I was told I'd receive calls with results or to schedule follow ups, but those calls never come through unless you reach out. This doesn't all fall on the administrative staff... clinical staff is responsible for this I believe. Keep that in mind-- be sure to keep track of follow ups and results you're waiting for. Ive found the patient portal will not always be reliable as well. Overall I would recommend this office -- speaking only for GYN not OB-- as long as you are an attentive patient invested in your own health. Be warned- you will have to keep track of your own things because this office will fall short.

I initially found Dr. Yolonda Moore to be polite and professional during my appointments…read more Unfortunately, my experience with my follow-up care was extremely disappointing. I was undergoing evaluation for a possible ovarian condition, including a procedure that was intended to provide more information. The procedure was canceled by the anesthesia department because I became ill that week. I was instructed to reschedule once I recovered and was told that someone from Dr. Moore's office would contact me. After that, I called the office multiple times to speak with Dr. Moore or a nurse about rescheduling my procedure, discussing my blood work, and understanding the next steps in my care. None of my calls were returned. I also never received my blood test results or an explanation of what they meant. The only communication I received was a bill for more than $200. Waiting for testing related to a possible serious diagnosis is incredibly stressful. Being unable to reach anyone, not receiving my results, and not having my procedure rescheduled left me feeling unsupported and without guidance during a very frightening time. I cannot speak to the care provided by the other physicians in this practice. However, based on my personal experience with Dr. Moore, I would not recommend her to anyone who is concerned about receiving timely communication, follow-up, and continuity of care--especially when being evaluated for a potentially serious medical condition.

I absolutely love Dr. Lori Mausi and if not for her early intervention I would have probably lost…read moremy son. Everything was fine at the beginning of pregnancy and she was very through with all my testing. I unfortunately developed a short cervix at 21 weeks pregnant and Dr. Mausi made sure we stayed on top of it. Between her and Beaumont hospital we made it to 27 weeks, but she was there every step of the way. Her bed side manor was/is always professional and I always felt like she cared, she answered every question I had and her staff was always professional and friendly. She's been my ob-gyn for almost 3 years and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

In Feb 2024 I saw her for abnormal bleeding and it turns out I had a retained tampon inside me.. but before she found it she ordered an ultrasound but cancelled it after finding the tampon EVEN THOIGH I told her I was having pelvic pain far before the tampon incident. If she had kept the order for the ultrasound I would have found out over a year sooner that I had massive fibroids on my uterus. In January 2026 I finally had my hysterectomy and NONE of the post op things were discussed with me such as the fact that a large percentage of women go into menopause within 3 years even if ovaries are kept in tact. Lastly, when I called her st about 4-5 months post op telling her about the extreme bone deep fatigue I was experiencing as well as allll of the other PAINFUL symptoms I was and am experiencing , she blew it off as "just depression".... And it's not. It turns out my ovaries are barely functioning and I'm not producing enough estrogen etc... I have shoulder pain every single day and night and cannot get a good nights sleep for the life of me. There's a thing called "frozen shoulder" during menopause and she neglected to address any of my issues physically speaking and chalked it all up to anxiety and depression. She failed me. My body feels worse than it ever has in my life and all she said was "the surgery was a success so the problem is fixed and you just need to get used to your new body. I think you're just having a major depressive episode" Thanks Doctor. But wrong. I've dealt with depression my whole life and this is NOT what that feels like. Estrogen keeps your joints linricated. My hips and pelvic area are in pain a lot and my shoulder won't allow me to sleep at night and many more symptoms that she ignores and then discharges me as a patient bc SHE didn't listen to my actual concerns and instead took offense. She just didn't care. And she cared more about her ego than the patients extreme symptoms and blamed my mental health. Never will I recommend her to ANYONE with a uterus (or without for the matter) as she doesn't take post op concerns seriously bc she thinks that surgery automatically just fixes the problem. Oh so wrong. I'm struggling hard trying to find a new on/gyn. I thought for sure that having surgery done by her.... That she would take my post op concerns seriously and she did not at ALL. :(

Very unprofessional Gyn doctors my appointment was at 1:00 Got there at 12:30 sat in the waiting…read moreroom and didn't even call out patients name they just look at you tell you to come in got in the room and called me "Kimberly" when that wasn't even my name went back to the waiting room and waited an extra 15min got called back and they ask me what my history was when l've told them 3 times what it was going to the office they should be keep records of our history there should be no need to repeat your history every time you go in then she told me that in my history I had fibroids when I don't even have that then I told her that my appointment today was to come in for an ultrasound and she told me that she had no time and was backed up knowing that I have a bad history with developing cysts and having a chronic disease of endometriosis and mind her that I drove 1 hour and 15 min to this place. I don't recommend this OBGYN to anyone.

One day I let her know that the wait was too long and she responded with "well I don't like waiting long hours for women to labor but I do" absolutely rude, very impatient and incompetent. I tried getting her changed as my doctor but I was too far along for anybody to take me. She was upset about me wanting a vaginal birth instead of a C-section and kept coming in the labor room pushing for a C-section however I stuck to my guns and had a vaginal. She literally half way circumcised my son and now he has a half circumcised penis .Not long after I got pregnant again however the hospital told me I had no heart beat and because she was already who I was seeing I went to her to get a d & c. She did the d&c and a week later I found out she left some of the dead fetus in me so I had to have a second d&c BEYOND TRAUMATIZING and because she is the one who did the surgery no other doctor would go over her surgery so I had to let her perform the second d&c and when she did it she said to me "this time I will use a ultrasound machine so I can see everything to make sure everything is clear" THAT IS WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE FIRST TIME...this lady will cause you a living nightmare and definitely should NOT still be practicing
