Omg I can't even evoke the words for what a nightmare this office is. I used to see the nurse practitioner Debra, that experience was amazing, but this past pregnancy not so much.
Dr. Mausi was to be my ob since Debra retired. I never had the pleasure of meeting her.
I found out that I was pregnant with my third child at the end of October. I couldn't get an appt until December 13. That would've put my first appt at my 11-12 week, unheard of. My first pregnancies I was seen between 7-8 weeks.
I called every week to see if there were cancellations, apparently not. During that time I called and spoke to Tracy, their nurse, if she did call me back I was obviously a burden. I'm amazed that a person like that has a job in a office that helps birth children. Completely cold and patronizing.
I felt like something wasn't right with the pregnancy, my breasts started shrinking and I wasn't feeling well. Couldn't get me in. Oh, then I started bleeding and went to the ER. Yes, I'm having a miscarriage. No heart beat. At 10.5 weeks the baby was the size of a 7 week fetus. So I gather that the child passed then. Awesome. Great news. I called Dr Mausi's office the next day to see if I could take anything for the pain. Actually my husband called and they said Motrin and Tylenol. A joke.
So then I make an appt per the er and I get in that week(no way!) I'm sitting in the waiting room listening to the receptionists taking appts for other women for the next week. The worst two hours of my life. Finally I get into a room to see dr Franco. She apologizes for the wait. Talks to me about the miscarriage. Doesn't mention that I should get blood tests to make sure my beta and hcg goes to 0. I ask her about it. She's smiles and says of course!
I am disgusted by this place. Wtf. Then dr Franco wanted to see me for a check up. I made an appt for January 12. They called me today with the bitch voice to change my appt. January 30 at 8 or 3:25! What convenient times!! And the shitty condescending tone omg.
Writing a crappy review is the least I can do. My husband and I plan on writing the office manager as well as his/her superior. Patients need to be treated better than this. Absolutely ridiculous.
I'm not blaming this place for my miscarriage, whether it could've been avoided will never be known. But their bedside manner is lacking.
If any other woman can avoid this treatment is the point. I am disgusted and angry. read more
