    Update: Our dogs annual check ups were starting this week (we staggered them) and I was honestly…read moreterrified of getting emotional after the last time was losing our Bucky (April 2019) - and with Covid just all of it - and man did CAC once again blow me away. Their amazing COVID protocol has me wishing they ran every business in Ohio - the high level of care doesn't drop either. I will always be a client mama. We sadly lost one of our fur babies a week ago and the continuation of his fabulous care and the compassion towards our entire family during his passing and after is something of a level I have never experienced; these folks are amazing. All of my fur babies will be seen here and in my opinion there is no other vet that could touch paws with them. We picked our beloved Bucky up tonight and the thoughtful package design for cremation services between The Animal Clinic and Western Farms is something so comforting and beautiful to me. Thank you again for ensuring Bucky passed with the same respect he lived with.

    Took my 10 week old kitten into their urgent care this afternoon…read more She's been so full of snot and sneezing non stop. She's been on antibiotics. But, was still suffering. We were seen the minute we walked in. I gave them her history while the tech went over my Tonks. Literally within 30 minutes, we were on our way home. She's on another dose of antibiotics. I love the fact that everything and I mean everything was handled in a private exam room. From paperwork, to payment. It kept my tiny calm. The doctor was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and the wntire place was wicked clean. We will definitely be back. Even with urgent care prices, it wasn't that expensive. Thanks for caring for my girl!

    We all knew it was time for our 15 year old baby girl to cross the Rainbow Bridge, including her,…read morebut she needed help crossing the bridge. She always hated the vet, and I shuddered at the thought of going to the vet's impersonal office - I had visions of metal tables, all business, and a horrid pit in my stomach for the rest of my life. Our family decided that in home compassionate euthanasia was how we wanted to handle things. Unfortunately, it took several calls over about a 7 hour span to our vet to try to get a recommendation, as I did NOT want to go pot luck on something like this. The place they suggested was lovely, but couldn't come until the following evening. During that time, our beautiful fur baby deteriorated significantly. I couldn't bear the thought of her suffering. My sister made some calls to get recommendations, and Dr. Fraser from In-Home Pet Loss came recommended from three independent sources. He was able to get to us within a few hours. He explained every single thing that he did. He was gentle. He was caring. He was completely respectful of all of us. We kept her in her bed, which truly was her happy place, and we were able to hold her, stroke her, and talk to her the entire time. It was as dignified and peaceful as possible. While we all knew it was time, none of us wanted to say goodbye, but Dr. Fraser helped guide us through the process. He provided us paw prints for our memories, and when everything was over, he carried her out in her bed, (which he then returned to us) which was much more comforting than I could have expected. Thank you, Dr. Fraser, for helping us through truly one of the most heartbreaking things we have been through.

    We did the mobile clinic at tractor supply at tractor supply and the vet did not even talk to us…read more Her assistant came out and told us that our cat needed flea medicine. The vet assistant acted like the vet was a celebrity and had no time for us. When we finally did see the vet, she did not acknowledge us nor talk to us.

    I went to VIP pet care's Chardon location today because I believe my animal needed an antibiotic…read more I waited in line for an hour to find they only offer vaccines. While I was in line there were two out of control dogs barking non stop for an hour straight. Meanwhile the clinic assistant checking people in did absolutely nothing to minimize the disruption and anxiety that those dogs were giving my cat. The clinic didn't ask those people to wait outside or seem to care how those unruly dogs belonging to other customers affected my cat. My cat has a lot of anxiety just normally and then to have to wait in line for an hour to find out they only do vaccines because there services vary by location and some locations like my normal location in Mentor, OH which that VIP pet care has the services my cat needed so I assumed this location did too. They also did not have any signs or anything posted to show they only did vaccines. This visit caused irreparable emotional harm to my cat and his anxiety because to the fact the clinic assistant failed to even attempt to diffuse the situation with the unruly dogs that were there. I can tell you that I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN DUE TO THE SUBSTANDARD PRACTICES AT THIS LOCATION. I also filed a formal complaint with VIP Pet Cares customer service team as the useless clinic assistant could not even help me with filing a complaint. Any time I have visited another VIP Pet Care location the clinic assistant would not just check in the person next in line but go down the line check in others that were waiting while the clinic assistant had downtime, but instead this clinic assistant just twiddled their thumbs and stood around. The clinic assistant proactively checking in not just the next person in line could have prevented this issue as well and it would've allowed me to find out the did offer antibiotics for cats at this location. This location does not deserve on star. The other thing that was noted that the supervisor told me that if her cat need minor medical care she wouldn't take it to VIP Pet Care, but keep in mind several of VIP Pet Cares locations offer treatment for minor medical care just not this one. However, it says a lot that a customer service supervisor for VIP Pet Care would not even trust them to handle minor medical care if she were in my situation. I wouldn't have been as upset if they just wasted my time, but my cat was so traumatized by those dogs he has been shaking and hiding under the bed for the last 2 hours. This level of substandard service and just overall lack of caring or compassion really says a lot about VIP Pet Care more like Worst Pet Care in town. I also spoke with the manager at Tractor Supply as well which this issue was ultimately the fault of VIP Pet Care. The manager informed me that Tractor Supply employees at that location where the VIP Pet Care is situated inside of they've had multiple employees get bitten because of unruly animals and the staff not holding the owner of the animals accountable or asking animals that are out of control to remain outside until they can be seen.
