I chose to get "Sugar Plum" cremated for $145. which included: her ashes in a velvet bag, 2 name cards, a certificate, a memory book, flower seeds and the "Rainbow Bridge Poem". She was ready to be picked up the same day. Mike called me to pick her up and he was friendly. I highly recommend this place for people with fur babies.

However, the timing of losing her was not going to allow us to take her home the same day. We were told by countless cremation locations that she would need to be "dropped off" and "picked up a week later." We couldn't allow that. Could anyone allow that to happen to their family? We happened upon DeJohn Pet Services while frantically searching for a location that would respect her body to the standard of a human, and do it the same day - a weekend evening, no less. The ONLY place in the area that is capable of both - is DeJohn Pet Services. Sherri, on a Saturday, told us she would meet us there at 6pm. Grief-stricken, we arrived with Riley in sobbing tears. Sherri allowed us all the time we needed to wait for more family members to arrive and try to say our goodbyes. There was nothing more important to us than to STAY with our baby through every step of the process - just like she would have wanted in life. Sherri allowed us to stay next to Riley as she clipped her fur for us to have, prepared the cremation, and let us send her on her way by pressing the button - ourselves. DeJohn is the ONLY place in this area that your pet/family member will be privately cremated. This is the only place that will allow you to stay with them throughout the process. This is the only place that will treat them with the standard and care of a human - if not more.
