I took my dog there for cremation to be greeted by a woman who talked non-stop, never explained the packages available to me, talked about how long it takes to burn fat people, and trash-talked the competition by telling me that a crematory I had used before did not do private cremations. So what am I to think? That the ashes I got back from their competition belonged to a bunch of mass cremated dogs?
Even though my options were never explained to me, I bought the middle package that included a paw print and a lock of hair. What I got was insulting and a clear attempt to capitalize on the grief of pet owners who have just lost a cherished companion. The lock of hair was placed unceremoniously in a baggie: no name, no identification, nothing, just a baggie. The paw print was on paper so thin that it crinkled with the application of ink. One of the paw prints was placed over top of the statement that the remains belonged to my dog. Nice, warm sentiment, and certainly not suitable for framing or memorializing or for anything but profiteering.
This place should be avoided at all cost. There are so many places that perform pet cremations and memorials with compassion and professionalism. There is absolutely no reason to visit this business for your pet cremation needs. read more
