Helpful, courteous, and attentive friendly staff, always there when you need them, but at the same time unobtrusive. The rooms are really spacious, bright & airy with lovely, modern decor, and as mentioned, spotlessy clean. All the usual room comforts are provided such as tea/coffee making facilities, ironing board+iron and TV. The bathroom was really gorgeous too with a roll-top bath plus walk-in shower. Expensive smelling toileties & beautifuly soft white fluffy towels completed the superior ambiance of the whole building. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with excellent quality locally sourced food, and plenty of it. Some things were even home-made too, like the delicious jams and marmalade. Oh, and better not forget to mention that they also cater for veggetarians. There is lots of attention to detail here, with everything you could want to hand - and if it's not there just ask, & you will be given - with a smile, I might add! I can't praise the owners high enough for their unwavering consideration towards their guests, which in my opinion more than ensures return visits, and plenty of them! The hotel has several options for food. The first night we dined alfresco. It was a treat. The food was magnificent. The breakfast was good although a bit underwhelming (due to Covid) after the magnificent dinner. The second night we had dinner in the bar. It was also great. This hotel is a memorable experience not to be missed.

The bathrooms are clean & bright, if not a little on the small side, although they are quite a bit larger in the newer rooms. The usual toiletries are provided, but are dispersed from wall-mounted dispensers instead of having individually wrapped items - not a bad thing really as it's more environmentaly friendly not having lots of plastic sachets/bottles & paper to dispose of every day. It has a very large car-park which ensures that parking space is plentiful, and also a very nice enclosed playground with swings, slides etc to keep the little ones happy! There is a Beefeater restaurant/bar directly opposite that serves breakfast, (including an all-you-can-eat buffet) lunch & evening meals, and handy to go for a drink in the evening if you don't want to venture out too far. An excellent all-rounder, as it's great for families, couples or individuals. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and genuinely helpful - nothing is too much trouble. To summerize, the Premiere Inn at Hereford is a great budget hotel & comes very highly recommended!

What did it for me was that they had the most delicious breakfast pastries... I still crave them to this day. They even delivered a fresh batch to my room after I ate them all at breakfast... Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say that's where the positive comments end, as the service here is seriously lacking in common courtesy, and an air of general incompetance prevails. I had friends visiting and had previously booked a room for them in advance directly over the phone. Upon arrival they were told that no record could be found of their booking and that there was not a room available to them. No amount of polite insistance that a room had definately been pre-booked would make them agree to honour the reservation, and remained firmly resolute that they had made no mistake. I think they had just got over-booked and did'nt want to lose face by admitting their mistakeTo add insult to injury, not even the merest of apology was made, let alone an attempt to resolve the situation! I don't like to give bad reviews, rather saying nothing at all simply because a bad experience might just be a 'one-off', but on this occassion, the sheer rudeness of the staff here compelled me not to hold back! I'd seriously advise that if you do book a room here to get it in writing!

Harts Lane is so narrow, my partner hesitated pulling our car into the lane and then really had second thoughts about pulling into the tiny parking area. I was too busy loving everything I could see to care about that! Then, we walked into the bed and breakfast, where an out-of-breath Linda Smith greeted us warmly and apologized for not being ready. We didn't mind. After all, there were TWO pubs in one TINY village! ;) When we returned from our obligatory pub visit, Linda led us upstairs and to our room. Do you know how sometimes places look clean but don't smell clean? This clean room smelled GREAT! Then, I went into the bathroom. It was completely remodeled and very modern. I was in heaven! A quaint, clean bedroom with a clean modern shower! There was even a place for me to sit down in the bedroom and put on my makeup. I decided to use it for sitting down and reading a daily devotional, but just having this wonderful space was a plus. Did I mention there was a fireplace? The next morning, Linda cooked us "whatever we wanted." My partner happily ordered sausage and eggs, and I ordered bacon and eggs. While we waited, I looked around the family dining room. There were wonderful family pictures--Linda and Ian Smith's wedding pictures, their children, etc. My partner meanwhile marveled at his freshly squeezed orange juice and some of the woodwork in the room. Then, the food came. The bacon was the size of 4 American slices stuck together but a lot thicker. Everything was delicious, but after we ate, we felt like we needed a nap! If you go to this area of England, stay here! The Smiths are very congenial people, their accommodations are clean, their food is outstanding, and the village is picturesque. You'll swear you're in a movie.
