Sunday morning and I arrived just before 7am. The barista was setting out the chairs and asked that I hang out until official opening time. Okay, so I wandered a bit and then returned. Coffee this morning was an attempt at a cortado but was more like a double espresso. Which was okay because it was excellent coffee but not quite what I wanted. Mr coffee was super yummy!! I love the seasonal drink menus they put out! Great place to hangout with friends or get some work done. They have a room in the back with board games you can play. What an amazing hole in the wall. The employee there was super kind and helpful guiding me through the menu. DAIRY FREE OPTIONS! I had a standard matcha latte. Match is usually hit or miss depending upon where you go. This matcha latte was out of the park. My roommate had a salted caramel cold brew. She loved it. Why can't this coffee shop be in my neighborhood? I would be here every day. Such a cute and quaint café with delicious drinks and baked goods. And, the barista who made our drinks was super nice and helpful, answering all my questions. It seems like they are very active in supporting the local artists and small businesses. I wish I took pictures of the art, postcards, knitted products, and other unique items for display and sale. There was even a person by the entrance who was selling her jewelry. I got the London Fog drink which is Earl Grey tea with steamed milk. This is my favorite drink and is a rare find at cafes usually, so I had to try it. The barista told me that they added some other yummy additions that uplifted the flavors of the drink. I was in love. The loose tea was in actual cloth tea bags, which tells me that they put a lot of attention into the quality of their drinks. We also got a pumpkin muffin and a hot chocolate for the kid in our group and he said that it was the best hot chocolate that he's ever had. If you are reading this now and contemplating, stop! Go! Check them out! Hope you find everything as wonderful as I did. Tips: -If you like their teas, they sell the loose tea leaves. -They have a very cute punch card for frequent customers. -They have specials, so don't forget to ask about them. Ok I see you Plattsburgh! No idea I'd find such a cool coffee shop here! Now, I was passing through, so I'm not a local... but I really enjoyed this place. I don't drink coffee but I did get a tea. They had some really interesting tea lattes (which most coffee shops don't put any effort into). The standout for me was the Tra Que Chai which had a blend of Vietnamese cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Fun local coffee shop. Everything coffee is a double shot of espresso and the vibe is really inviting. Play a game, read, chat, or tap at your laptop. It's all fine. Stumbled into this coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised with their product and the pleasant atmosphere. They were pulling a brand called Lakeside Espresso which had a nice depth of flavor and a smooth finishing notes. Plenty of comfortable chairs and nooks to relax in. Did not et any of their baked goods but they looked fresh. Staff was attentive to our requests. Main Street parking in front of store and good wifi. A coffee shop that opens when you want coffee--7 am!!! Delicious coffee drinks, some made with local ingredients. My drink of choice has been the honey lavender latte which can be served hot or cold. Nice breakfast wrap with maple bacon. The gluten free banana muffin was pretty good. Indoor seating space is nice with tables and chairs. Outside is great people and dog watching.
