This place was great!! Located inside the Venetian in the shopping area. i think it was second floor if I remember correctly. The girls working were super-friendly and helped me pick out the hat that looked best on me. Don't know why I got a wild hair up my ass to buy a hat, but hey, why not?!? LOL. The store had plenty of options to choose from, and all different style of hats. I was there with a couple coworkers and we had fun trying on all kinds of goofy styles. I think i paid around $80 for my hat, which seems fairly average for that style from other vendors, so i was fine with that price. With some time remaining, I scanned around and found a few more styles which would compliment my dress style. If you're accustomed to Snapchat filters, you may have seen photos of your friends with animal ears. These are often seen across the web on social media sites. This store offered a few types of faux-animal ears. I picked up a pair for my little niece. Let me tell you, she was stoked! As stated above, hat costs are premium. I feel like we're directly paying their rent. I've been to many hat stores around the country.. even for everyday styles, this is priced on the higher end. Service; I was kinda surprised how laid back the store employees were. The mall in Vegas gets a lot of foot traffic and we were in between a weekend and the 4th of July. I purchased two really cool hats at the Chapel Hats at the Mandalay Shops on the strip. The two staffers, Christian and Char were fun and helpful. The one hat is a striking navy blue which is foldable for travel. Great idea! And for anyone looking for fabulous fascinators this is the place to look with many colors for a special occasion. This is strictly a hat shop. They have tons of hats, every type, shape and size. Really a neat place. I was there with my wife looking for some head gear for a weekend of pool parties and general vacation time in Las Vegas. Here's my breakdown: GOOD 1: They have a fantastic selection, not only in styles but also in price within the styles. GOOD 2: The staff really know their hats. The lady who helped us really knew everything about all the hats and with a little bit of input from me we were able to pick out a perfect fedora that really set the mood I was looking for that weekend. I have a hat obsession and so my favorite moment from my most recent Vegas trip might just be Chapel Hats. Located in the Venetian, this is a must on your list! They have the cutest hats - from faux furry to vintage-inspired. My guy also had fun and bought one page boy hat - I bought three, well two and one headband with a veil and feathers on it. I wish the store was a little bit bigger because it can get cramped with so many people in the store but they have plenty of styles to choose from. I love hats, but look good in very few. I think my head is too long...or tall. The staff here is very helpful in finding something right for you, and boy do they have options. One of the employees noticed I had a Goorin Bros. hat on and said she was jealous that I have a few stores very close to where I live. I told her that Chapel Hats has a much bigger selection, and they do. I finally found a hat that I love, and my girlfriend found 3 or 4, but looked adorable in about 10. The shop is fun. Visted this hat store locaed in the canal shoppes at the Venetian. Overall the selection is just OK. Various styles of hats but not a large range in hat quality. Everything was wool or felt crushable styles with no real quality hats to be had. For men's hats the fedora is most prominent and most of the cheaper quality variety. There were some intriguing leather hats for men but the price precluded me from even considering them. There was a pretty good selection for women's hats and headwear and I rated this store as a 3 star mostly for that reason. (would have been lower if just rated on mens hats) Overall nothing special as far as mens hats go but for the woman who is looking for something a little different and dressy this is a good shop. The saleswoman was knowledgable and helpful. Just wish more quality mens hats were available. read more

My partner and I went with every intention of buying. We went a week prior so I can size his big ol' dome but decided to bring him to make sure I got the perfect fit. We went in, there was no greet. We were looking at the front table Panama hats clearly interested in at least one. I asked the reluctant sales girl If there were any more hats in the back or any more sizes anywhere else. She says no and continues to just stand there and watch us shuffle through their selections. Being a sales person, I loath poor customer service and theirs were the worst I've seen in a while. 3 associates in an intimate setting and NO ONE offered any help. It's a sad day when you want to spend money and people just don't want it. Luckily Tommy Bahamas were more accommodating and we walked out with a $150 fedora and a Happy Birthday boy. OK I'll admit we got sucked into this store because there were some very steam punk looking hats in the window for men. I love Las Vegas and while the price of something has never actually stopped me from going inside a store, SOME of the prices of the Men's hat are quite confusing. 149.99 for what seriously looks like a 15 dollar hat? hm-mm. While a total tourist trap, the staff were very nice and helpful. The sales lady helping my hubby and I was more than helpful in helping me find a hat that was the right mix of steam punk and total girl. :) read more

Love this place,both the Venetian and Mandalay. I have 3 hats(Fedoras) from Chapel and am very impressed with the quality. I go to Vegas 2-3 times a year and this is one of my stops. I'm not a gambler(save for slots),so I buy goodies. The lady at the Venetian shop was so sweet and helpful,she went and got me a feather for my black fedora,out of the back. Every man over 45 should have a nice hat. Women should go back to wearing hats. If I don't make it in Oct. I will see you in Spring,for my new hat.
