Although I can buy car batteries at my place of employment, I have always gone to AutoZone because…read morethey'll test any car battery and charge it if needed. Well, during the recent cold spell, my battery took a dump and my car wouldn't start. I called AutoZone and the employee gave me a detailed list of available batteries that would work in my car from low to high-end. When I took my battery in the manager, checked it and said it looked like it was OK so he offered to charge it for free. When I went to pick it up another employee informed me that I did need a new battery because it would not charge. He helped me pick out a battery that was good for a cold weather and also suggested a battery protection kit. I went home and was able to get the battery in but I couldn't get the screws to tighten and I accidentally dropped a J hook inside the car. I drove to AutoZone and asked if they would let me borrow a tool so that I can tighten the nuts. The employee not only provided a tool, but she came out and tightened the nuts for me. I explained to her that I dropped the J hook, and she gave me an extra one. As I was trying to get the J hooks on another employee came out to help me, but I explained to him I had dropped one down in the car. Not only did the manager come out to fish the J Hook out of my car, but another employee from another location, pulled up and assisted him with this task. They got my battery installed properly and securely positioned! I have never had such extraordinary service from all employees at the same business. After I got home, I was curious to see Which AutoZone I had initially called for information and low and behold, it was the Pueblo West AutoZone! And if things couldn't get any better when I went to pick up my battery, a man walked in with his pet monkey, who was wearing banana diapers! I swear I am not making this up. I can't wait to stop by AutoZone in Pueblo West for my next routine maintenance!

Went to Autozone to buy an auxiliary battery and the customer service was outstanding. 3/29/2025read more

We found McCandless and crossed our fingers that they would be able to help us first thing Monday morning. Sure enough, Shane greeted us and was right on it. He explained that if we could give them just a few, they could get a tech in and get us taken care of. When Wade got a hold of our bus he had everything checked out including our original issue, an oil change, and a leak fix in just a couple hours. They went out of their way, on super short notice, to not only fix it, but then they go above and beyond. Kindness and Professionalism from start to finish. Couldn't recommend them more strongly. Thanks guys!

It was serviced at two other truck centers in So. Colorado without success. The service manager Shane Trout took a personal interest in finding the problem. His mechanic Jim also took it very seriously and I know they both spent a lot of time (even in their off work hours) thinking through the problem. Shane welcomed me to stay in my Rv in their repair lot for well over a week. They found that the surge tank flange was damaged keeping the system from maintaining a seal. They did the repair and I was on my way. A big thank you to Shane and his entire staff.
