My husband always goes to a florist for valentines, Mother's Day, and my birthday. He started a new job over a year ago in chantilly and every arrangement has been the most beautiful, in our 2 decades together. Thank you so much Alex at Chantilly Flowers! read more

Chantilly Flowers - Absolutely beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. - Florists Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

We had Chantilly Flowers do all of the flowers for my mom's memorial service. They were absolutely gorgeous, with time and care being taken to follow what we wanted to a T. The flowers exceeded my expectations and have lasted longer than any I've ever gotten. Highly recommend! read more

Flowers were ordered through Chantilly Florists for my sister for Mothers Day. She NEVER received her flowers. When asked for a picture for proof of the delivery, thy are stating the delivery man lost his phone. Too bad Chantilly Florists, this is a very NEGATIVE review. It has been over two months and the florists that ordered them through you still has not received a refund. NEGATIVE REVIEW read more

I am beyond thrilled with the Christmas centerpiece that I received yesterday! My sister lives in the outskirts of Winchester, Va, and I tried ordering her a centerpiece for her table (as a Secret Santa surprise to go with the quilted table runner I made for her) through teleflora......even selected and paid for an arrangement, plus tip, only to find out 2 days later that they had simply cancelled my order! " Sorry, we are unable to deliver to that area, blah, blah, blah". Since I knew I'd be seeing my sister today, and that she is celebrating her Christmas this weekend, I decided to try my local florist (Chantilly Flowers) and have my sister's flowers delivered to my house! I chose a gorgeous centerpiece (photo was lovely), and what was delivered to my house (the same day I ordered) was even more beautiful than I had imagined! Gorgeous, fresh flowers .....it took my breath away! I can't wait to see my sister today to give her these gifts! You surpassed my expectations, the delivery was perfect, and I will be recommending your shop to all of my friends and family. Thank you! read more

I would like to say that Chantilly Flowers goes above and beyond to make every moment special for people. Even though I am 15 hours away from their business I always know when I contact them that I can count on them. Keep up the great work! Thanks for all that you do to make people smile. Ordered flowers for daughter's birthday, arrangement ordered was to be variations of purple/lavender hues with a purple vase and two birthday balloons. This order was placed via teleflora and filled by Chantilly flowers. The recipient forwarded a picture to me of the arrangement and I was extremely displeased. The bouquet was not as full as depicted -the vase was clear and not purple and not one birthday balloon was present. I contacted Teleflora and I imagine they contacted the florist. I received a call from someone named Alex who apologized for the initial arrangement not being to my satisfaction and would send out another. I indicated that the recipient would be at her place of business the following day. Not only did Alex have another arrangement delivered, it was exceptionally beautiful with a purple vase and two balloons attached. My daughter was extremely pleased and happy. Thank-you Alex for making her day. I live out of town and after the interaction with Alex I will always deal directly with this florist. read more

My boyfriend went on your website and ordered flowers as a surprise for me while I'm on a week long work trip. Not only was that an amazing surprise but the care you took with the arrangement he ordered was incredible! I am beyond ecstatic about your shop. Please thank the person that arranged the flowers in the picture. They made me cry they were so beautiful. The arrangement came with 2 pink lilies, 2 red roses and 2 pink roses along with an assortment of decorative flowers. The Lilies have bloomed and the fragrance is beyond compare. Thank you So Much for taking the time to make this girl so incredibly happy. I'm taking them back to California but I will be telling everyone I know about your flower shop!!! read more

HOW TO KEEP YOUR FLOWERS LONGER As an event planner, I get this question often from my clients. Here are the facts: 1. The flowers you received have been cut at least a week ago from a warm climate state or more likely, overseas. I'll let that sink in for a second.... AT LEAST A WEEK AGO. You have to think of them like delicate produce. What happens to parsley or bagged lettuce when you leave it out of the fridge for 2 days? 2. Distributors and florists do the following to keep your blooms looking nice: -cut the ends of the stems in a diagonal cut using something very sharp every day -keep the flowers in cold water and change that water every day -keep them away from sunlight, heat and room temp -keep them refrigerated If you're not willing to do all of that (and I don't blame you) then expect your flowers to last 1-2 days. Degradation will happen rapidly. 3. Those little packets of floral longevity don't work. Neither do any tricks you find on YouTube. Those flowers have been dying since the moment they got cut a week ago. 4. Nothing speeds along rot faster than warmth and fetid water. The stems of the flowers are rotting in the water. Another reason I don't buy arrangements pre-made and sitting in my local grocer's fridge. They've been in there at least several days. You want fresh arrangements done right before you pick them up. Another reason why having a local florist is important.... 5. Flowering plants, people, see my previous review "Secrets". read more

This is the greatest place in the area to order and have flowers for a special someone!!! They always get the order processed and shipped same day or whatever day you need them to be delivered. Also, they send you a personal text message to keep you updated on when your order will be delivered and text you when it has been delivered (not an automated robot texting you). At times they also include a free box of chocolates for continuous business. I recommend Chantilly Flowers to any and everyone who needs flowers or needs to send flowers! Wow! Needed to pick up some flowers for a lunch I'm going to and decided to shop local. Found this gem of a shop and they put this lovely, fresh arrangement together for me in about 10 minutes. I took that opportunity to talk to the owner, Alex, and learned about his experience surviving in the business through the recession. By far the most expensive single flower I've ever bought. Ouch. Also it took about 20 minutes to cut and decorate the single rose. It did, however, look beautiful once done. Small shop that was a little hard to find using my GPS. Not sure if others have had the same problem. Either way, a place I would use as a delivery service but wouldn't go for an in-store visit. read more

Alex at Chantilly Flowers was very helpful, gracious and generous with his time in describing the different floral arrangement options and even took time to go to the warehouse to make sure he had the vase I wanted. The photo of the beautiful bouquet I ordered looked exactly like the photo of the lovely bouquet my daughter received. She was very pleased with the aesthetics and freshness of the bouquet, which was delivered the time of day and on the day he said it would be. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Placed an online order for a specific color bouquet. Substitutions were made but they were not the color in the order. More importantly, the size bouquet I paid for was not what was delivered. Paid for Premium and got what appears to be Standard. Emailed them to express my disappointment and it has been two days with no response. Two attached pictures show what I paid for and what was delivered. read more

January 2019 A SIX rating if we could! We can't say enough about the exceptional service Chantilly Flowers, and especially Alex gave us last week. We live in San Diego, CA. and wanted to send some flowers to our daughter-in-law for the birth of our grandson. We have only been to Chantilly, VA once so we read reviews online and went with Chantilly Flowers. Alex told us of a storm coming in and went out of his way to locate the hospital our daughter-in-law was in and when she would be home so the flowers wouldn't have to be left outdoors. He also explained and helped with the different sizes and details of the arrangement we chose - and no, it wasn't the most expensive. Besides all of this he included a nice addition to the order which made it even more special. If we can provide one piece of advise that has served us well, that is to go online and find a good local florist where ever you need flowers delivered and call and work directly with them. you will not be working with someone in a call center that is perhaps thousands of miles away. You will find out about local conditions - such an approaching snow storms - and develop a connection with the business actually making and delivering the flowers. This certainly served us well with Chantilly flowers and Alex. Thanks again Alex for your exceptional service with our order. Frank & Sandy read more

One of the few flower shops that has been "clutch" in supplying myself, my friends, and family with quality flower arrangements and amazing customer service. I can speak on the kindness of the owners in always giving their most honest opinions, and providing the highest products to myself. More than once now I have needed flower arrangements last minute, and without hesitation or fuss they have provided me with those. Even during a mothers day rush, they helped me get what I needed and did it with kindness. Whether that was homecoming, prom, mothers day or my mothers birthday, Chantilly flowers has been a mainstay for when I need flower related products. I will gladly continue to buy from them, and I hope this review removes any doubt of quality or hesitations you may have. read more

I underwent surgery last week and am recuperating at home. I ordered a bunch of Peonies online and they didn't work out because FedEx sent it to the wrong apartment and by the time the flowers were redirected to me the buds had disintegrated coz they were shipped without water. I posted on Facebook about how disappointed I was. My buddy in England saw it and called to work with a few florist in my area to get me Peonies. No one bothered to work with her other than Chantilly Flowers. Not only did they go through the hassle of ordering it for her, they waited for it to bloom right, and then delivered it to me. I think I have found my go to florist for life!! And when it was delivered to me, I didn't even notice they were peonies until the florist left. I was so happy I nearly jumped up and down, had it not been for the husband who reminded me I just undergone surgery. I am so touched not only by my friend who went through the hassle of finding me these peonies, I am so amazed by the effort and work Chantilly Florist went through to get me these flowers. So so amazed. Thank you!! read more

My friend was having a craptastic day and since I live in California and couldn't binge watch Golden Girls and cry on the couch with her I randonly called Chantilly Flowers to see if they could deliver some cheer. I had no clue what I wanted to send just happy, cheery flowers and a price point. I gave them a super crazy message to write in the card and they nailed it! She called me ugly crying happy on FaceTime and we had a 2 hour chat as we folded laundry trying to forget the reason she needed flowers in the first place. Incredible customer service. Made a pretty last minute order that was pretty large for funeral wreaths and sprays, and they were nothing but accommodating to our requests, no matter how unreasonable. They also were willing to give great advice on how to make the setting for the funeral look the best as they are very experienced in orders for these kind of events.
