When Senior Master Segal announced a new program called "Senior Strong", devoted to adults over 60, we became members. The program stresses flexibility, balance, and mental acuity through martial arts. I can't stress enough how much this program has improved our mental and physical health. Senior Master has a talent for making the experience enjoyable and fun. He encourages the students to participate at their own pace. His very capable associate, 5th degree black belt Mr. Lansing, also adds his expertise to the program when needed. Don't let your age hold you back, it's never too late to start. Dave & Jody Sawyer

This is an excellent Taekwondo Martial Arts School for all ages! My daughter started here 6 years…read moreago and now is a second degree black belt at age 15. This school and it's instructors are dedicated to helping kids develop their self-confidence, discipline among many other life skills. They not only focus on teaching kids valuable physical skills, such as self-defense, but also focus on the total individual. They cover life skills such as perseverance, integrity, goal setting, among others. They also value education and reward kids for good report cards and improvement in school and at home. But, this is not only a martial arts school for kids - adults are also welcome and in fact, encouraged. Many of the adult students are parents of kids who started classes first. I myself am one of those - having gotten my black belt at age 52. And I'm a woman! It's a great workout and I am in the best shape of my life. The classes keep you engaged, you learn valuable skills and the people attending are fun to work out with. It's definitely not intimidating and everyone is welcome. There are a variety of class times available and they make it easy for working adults and kids with busy schedules to fit in their workouts. The instructors are patient, helpful and very friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in getting more fit, giving kids a positive outlet and for just having fun!

Best martial arts school I have been to. friendly and knowledgeable staff very helpful and kind and they make it very easy and fun to learn. I like the fact that i'm not coming out all beat up and sore from training all the time. the training is a workout though its not as easy as it looks. I also have my 8 year old daughter training here and she loves it. she likes that its fun, active and a very supportive environment for her to be in. has helped her with her coordination, fitness level and discipline. Over all I love this place. I cant wait to see more people find this wonderful place.

Distrustful and shady business practices. Vague or non-existent communication with families. From…read morea martial arts perspective, the teaching was sound and the training was good for the kids. It was great to see kids build confidence and discipline, and develop friendships. My son was excelling and developed a love for martial arts. But the owner of the school (August O'Neil) was too much in the business of upselling families into expensive programs that just made no sense. They were greedy, and preyed on and pressured families to sign up for their black belt program. No child should be signed up for an expensive 3, 4, or 5 year program guaranteeing success (and a black belt) in martial arts. These types of arrangements simply have no place in martial arts, and it is just crooked salesmanship. I am sad for the students that trained hard and genuinely loved martial arts. I'm happy we were able to move our son to a a different school that focuses more on the training, than on taking your money. Though it sucks that this school still owes us ~$500 for 2 months out of a 6-month contract that we prepaid for--but that they couldn't fulfill due to their abrupt closure. And please remove my kid's picture from your photos.
