I am so glad we stumbled upon this spa while visiting Lake Jackson!! I was here visiting my family…read moreand running a half marathon fun run. My toes were in dire need of some TLC. I'd recommend calling ahead of time and making an appointment. Loved the variety of nail colors. I found a red glitter polish for my toes that I love. Massage chairs were on point and cozy. Prices are pretty on par with other salons, not super cheap but good & fairly affordable. The V-day decor was over the top but fun and very festive. Try their fruity wine punch while they do your service. I would come back here for a spa pedi the next time I'm in town.

I trim my own cuticles so there's nothing to trim. Then he painted my nails.... No massage, no cuticle oil, nothing. They were going to charge me $20 for a manicure when all he did was get my fingers wet and paint them with regular polish. When I told the front desk woman what happened, she called the dude over and tried to argue with me about it. I explained if he had done a manicure why was I back there for a total of 15 minutes and half of that was waiting for him? So I paid for the polish only and left. I'm a pretty good tipper usually as well, 50%-100%. They missed out. My niece got a full set, and the lady that did her nails didn't speak any english at all, and was rude as well. It's super disappointing when you want to pamper your self a little and get that kind of terrible service. Will be looking for recommendations for a place that does the service they say they are going to do and are not rude.

Every detail felt intentional and relaxing. The treatments were even better than expected, and Ashleigh, my masseuse, has angel hands. One of the best massages I've ever had. Light snacks, like cranberries and nuts are provided along with hot tea options, and citrus flavored water. The space is very nice. There are locker rooms with plush spa robes and complementary slippers. The locker room has two steam showers if you want to wash yourself after your massage. They also provide hair products to try as well as a Dyson hair dryer. I was definitely very impressed with the luxurious feel of the spa, however, was turned off by the receptionist who checked me in - her robotic, transactional nature was starkly juxtaposed against the warmth of the spa. I noticed she was the same with all customers so it wasn't personal but interaction with her was unsettling. I booked the 60min signature hydrafacial and the esthetician was welcoming and willingly customized my facial based on my requests. No major issues encountered but I noticed we started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so I thought marketing it as a 60min experience was a bit misleading. Also note the 60min Signature Hydrafacial does not include any hand/neck massages nor boosters nor light therapy so the $285 price was much more expensive than my usual spa. I will not return for another facial but may try massage in the future. We also booked pedicures and again the space is beautiful!! We were given a palette to select colors and the ladies were extremely friendly! My toes came out adorable! I found the seating to be very uncomfortable for a short person despite many pillows placed behind me for support so I honestly struggled to enjoy the experience but the space was very nicely decorated and clean looking. We were offered tea and snacks at the beginning as well. Overall, this was a very nice spa. I found it fairly expensive and overpriced, but I recognize beautiful spaces have a cost and that's what I should've expected in the River Oaks area. There is complementary validated parking!

I booked a treatment for my birthday yesterday and maybe my mistake was booking later in the day, it seemed like nothing had been refreshed. No sugar for the tea, i had to get up to find water since there were empty serving pitchers. A gentleman came in right after me and was served champagne while I had to get up AGAIN and asked to be served champagne. The woman who did my treatment was really sweet so that made up for it some but I wouldn't say the front desk was the friendliest. Would not book again and regret spending my birthday treat at this spa.

My wife and I booked services here for our post-wedding honeymoon trip. It was a complete disaster…read moreand an absolute ripoff. We paid over $480 in cash, which included a mandatory $80 tip. This "tip" was for what, exactly? The service was nonexistent. Not one single time in the 2 hours we were using the facilities (BEFORE our massage) did a single staff member check in on us except the initial walkthrough. We had to serve ourselves completely: The cold towels were not stocked. The razors were empty. My wife sat in the relaxation lounge for 40 minutes, but no one ever came to provide her neck warmer. She had to get up and dig through cabinets to find it herself. (As did I) I had to walk the halls in my robe just to find an employee to restock the cold towels and razors, and again just to get our water and champagne refilled. After our massage, the amenities were empty all over again. The facilities are broken. The steam room was dark with lights out, and one of the showers did not work. The staff was rude and incompetent. When we first tried to walk in, we were told it was "too much of a hassle." We called twice to schedule and clarify our order, and they still got it wrong when we arrived the next day. When we finally left, not one person at the front desk acknowledged us, said thank you, or asked how our service was. Our masseuse, Miss Holly, was the only professional person in the entire spa. She deserves to work at a better establishment. This spa is part of the larger Hotel Galvez, and our entire stay was a catastrophe that brought my new wife to tears. The management is rude, the rooms are broken, and the billing is deceptive. We are deeply saddened that a place that was once special to us (I proposed here: https://youtu.be/Ldo23DDiyn4) has completely collapsed. Do not waste your money here. We expect corporate management to take extraordinary steps to make this right.
