I was more curious to see if it was actually five star worthy for a psychiatric place. I've had a few psychiatrists since 2020, I've even been dropped by one, and I don't think I'm the easiest of patients. I have a few disorders and I've tried many medications, but no matter what, most psychiatrists I encounter do not take the time to listen to you. The appointments are usually 30min max, but here I've been thoroughly spoken to and tested so the appointments have been longer. I don't mind the appointment length or anything because I know I'm getting actual care. I don't feel like medication is being thrown at me willy-nilly here. The place itself is very clean, organized, nicely decorated, etc you don't feel like you're seeing a psychiatrist. I don't think I saw medication posters everywhere or anywhere and I kind of like that. Overall, I have no complaints or concerns about the staff, doctors, or anything else. This has been a very pleasant and positive experience.

I just had the worst experience at the Henderson location. I had a simple appointment to go over my…read morelab results with my primary care provider Christine V. The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money!
