Us foreigners living in London (especially an italian) receive a lot of visits from our countries, and of course the people visiting need a way to exchange currency and get sterling pounds: in the first months living here I've seen people horrendously scammed by high street change booths that gave ridiculous rates, more often than not complementing those with processing fees, commission charges, etc. I first found change link on an occasion where I needed to bring to Italy around 1500 pounds. I went to my bank, and they offered me a change rate which was considerably lower than the published inter-bank rate, so I was looking for something better. On that particular trade, change-link saved me around 70 euros, which was pretty astonishing to me. Since then, this place has become my (and my friends') one-stop shop for currency exchange: it consistenly has lower rates than other places, and we have never had any problems with them. Best foreign currency exchange rates I've come across in London. Great value for money, what you see on their website is what you will get in store, and you don't have to prepay for the currency to get the great rates you see online! It's never as packed as the other currency company around the corner that most ppl seem to flock to. It also really helps that the customer service is on point. You don't feel un welcomed here, unlike the other currency company around the corner. They also always offer you an envelope ! Lol I need not go to any other foreign currency company again. Have been using Changelink for the past 20 years, always found their rates better than anywhere else. Staff are always helpful and polite.

Tried to exchange larger sum (£10000), no end of problems and making excusses. Took my business elsewhere ( Sainsbury's). Done within half an hour without any problems. read more
