I was charged over $600 because they sent me to an OUTPATIENT facility to get an ultrasound unaware to me, because WHY WOULD YOUR PCP EVER DO THAT TO YOU!?! My insurance even noted how scammy it was and apologized and opened an internal claim. I would have been charged $0 if they sent me to a normal place like how my other doctors have done for the past 10 years. DO NOT GO THERE. I don't care if you've seen good reviews, as I did have a fine experience with my PCP, but they are a scam company. My insurance even noted that I should be able to negotiate the costs given how they were grossly incompetent. On top of that, the billing department kept saying I need to 'three way' my insurance, but then after spending an hour trying to do that because the billing department kept hanging up, they noted that they couldn't. Colleen, Amy, Christine and more from the billing department, thank you for showing us how much of a scam this hospital is!

I had a horrible fever, cough, and colourful mucus out of nowhere Friday night, and called them first thing on Saturday morning to see if they accepted my insurance. (Really, you should do this before going to any urgent care, because they all seem to accept different plans.) Once I heard they accepted my insurance I went straight over. I arrived Saturday at 9:00 am. There was only one other person in front of me. Filling out new patient forms/waiting to be seen only took about 20 minutes. The girls at the desk were very kind and pleasant. The assistant that took my vitals was also very pleasant and nice. She let me know about the "My Chart" program, but a lot of places now do this. They have contracts with the site to sign people up, so you can just decline if you don't want it. After vitals, my wait time in the checkup room was about 10 minutes. I was seen by Audra Burdulis, a Nurse Practitioner. She was incredibly warm and pleasant to me right out of the gate. I usually feel like an idiot having to go to any urgent care, because I so rarely get sick that I never know what's wrong with me, and feel like the biggest arse spouting out my complaints. She listened very patiently and empathized with me. She looked at my eyes, in my mouth, ears and throat, and felt along my neck and face. She diagnosed me with a severe upper respiratory infection/pre bronchitis. I had to bring up the humiliating fact that I can't swallow pills, and she wasn't put off or annoyed at all. She prescribed me all liquids and sprays, and explained how to use each one and which ones not to take at the same time. She implored me to call back if I had any change of symptoms or if I had any concerns, and they phoned in my prescriptions to the pharmacy I requested before I even left the office. I have a bit of a road to recovery ahead of me, but my experience with this facility was wonderful.

I've been following their program for a…read morebrief time so far, but I have to say that I've seen drastic improvements in my mental clarity and in my overall energy. Dr. LeGrand has a clear understanding of the issues pertaining to ADHD and a logical and well thought out process to quickly see tangible improvements (of course this implies putting in the work necessary to follow the program correctly). The first time I met him he laid out the basic process in a coherent fashion, demonstrating common sense, and going into as much detail as was necessary to satisfy any questions I had. The fact that both he and his team first look at the evidence of what is going on, by means of questionnaires, tests, and labs - without jumping to conclusions - highlights the importance of having a competent practitioner. Something that A.I. is simply unable to match. Also, everyone on the team is an exceptional and intent listener and doesn't toss out an idea simply because it's the norm for medical practice. They consider it, evaluate it, and then give appropriate feedback. True, the program has a cost - which isn't for everybody - but if it allows me to overcome inherent difficulties, and to maximize my productivity by being able to better use my mental capacity, then I consider the value to be of significantly greater worth than the expense. Because if your mind isn't working at its best then how do you expect to do anything at all?

This program took time and commitment, but I was at a point of desperation and knew I had to make changes. I also felt the cost would be well worth it, if I got the results I wanted. I'm happy to say that I did and I'm still going! When I found this program, I was only recently diagnosed with ADHD at the time. I was pretty near rock bottom, with many things that were affecting me. Mostly severe depression, irritability and anxiety. And I couldn't muster any motivation to do the stuff I needed, especially take care of myself and my household. I was very impressed as to Dr. LeGrand's testing process for hormones, micronutrients and neurotransmitters. It was very thorough, and specifically identified areas needing improvement. The training classes were also very informative on how all these things work together and affect your person. After identifying my needs they got me my specific protocol to address my deficiencies. Within the first two weeks I started noticed a big improvement, and it got even better after that. Pretty soon, I got to the point where I was able to say that my depression was cured! That alone, was a life changer. I've also had some ups and downs with anxiety, but I'm probably at 95% which is also a game changer. My irritability is probably 30% of what it used to be also. But, I got back my "want to want". I enjoy wanting to do things again! I have always dreaded, and have been unsuccessful at trying to exercise. And that was indeed on my protocol, but I thought that would be the one thing I could never do. Today, I've been weight lifting consistently for over two years now! I could never stick to anything like that before! The program does encourage you to ultimately replace supplements with food, but I've always struggled to maintain consistent diets to get the nutrients I need, I must admit I'm still on my supplements. But I feel so great, finding something that worked, I don't want to stop! This is an ongoing process, and I work to make small changes over time. So I think at some point, I can replace supplements here and there with food. This program has helped me realize that I don't need to change all at once. It's about taking small little bites here and there and making tiny improvements over time, which I am still doing. Even over 2.5 years later, I'm just now implementing new things, like adding daily walking. And again, I still plan on replacing some of my supplements eventually. But I'm happy living a life where I do tiny improvements here and there over time. I also came away from this program with some really good, lifelong friendships. It was great meeting people on the group calls, and everyone has different life perspectives to share. Invaluable stuff! Finally, just wanted to talk about the staff. I worked mostly with Jake, but also a little with Dr. LeGrand. They are both great! I've read some of the previous negative reviews, like mentioning Dr. LeGrand is not a real Doctor, but a marketer. This is not true, he is a legitimate Doctor, who previously ran a practice in Washington. He does indeed market and sell his program, which any business entrepreneur should do. And frankly I'm glad he did to me, because I wouldn't have gone through this program otherwise. I also read some comments about the staff being narcissistic and how narcissists interrupt a lot. Well, guess what? So do folks with ADHD! I interrupt people a lot and so do many of the other ADHDer people I know (I'm still working on that). I have personal experience with actual narcissists in my world. They are very toxic and constantly manipulate everyone around them for their enjoyment. Neither Dr. LeGrand, nor Jake are narcissists. If you give them your time, they will help you. I'm sorry that some folks had a bad experience. I truly wish everyone could have my same experience. I'd encourage anyone to take the leap, and give it a try. If my house was broken, I'd spend a lot of money to fix that, why not my own body? I hope this helps someone, have a great day!

I listed multiple concerns in advance, including the topics we were supposed to discuss during the visit. However, when Dr. Gia came into the room, she seemed completely unaware of any of them and asked me what I was there for, as if she had not reviewed my visit notes at all before seeing me. I scheduled this appointment for very specific reasons: I needed a Pap smear, which I had not had in five years, I wanted a breast exam because I routinely monitor my breast health, and I also had several other health concerns I hoped to discuss. Instead of listening carefully and addressing those concerns, the entire visit felt rushed and inattentive. What disturbed me most was her attitude when I brought up very private symptoms -- vaginal itching and mild pain. Sharing something that intimate already takes vulnerability, and instead of being met with professionalism, empathy, or sensitivity, I felt judged. Her expression, tone, and overall manner made me feel as though she was viewing me through a biased and judgmental lens. What makes this especially upsetting is that she is a female doctor. As a woman, I expected at least a basic level of understanding and compassion when discussing such a private and sensitive issue. Instead, I felt scrutinized and silently judged at the exact moment I was trying to ask for help. No woman should feel shamed or stereotyped by another woman physician when bringing up intimate symptoms. I came in asking for a Pap smear, but the visit appears to have turned into STD testing instead. That was not the main reason for my appointment, and I did not ask for my concerns to be reduced to assumptions. Meanwhile, the preventive care I actually requested was not properly addressed. I also asked for a breast exam, even a basic manual exam, and she did not perform one. Even during the cervical swab, the interaction felt extremely rushed. As soon as that part was done, she seemed ready to leave immediately. I had to stop her and continue bringing up the many concerns I had listed and came in to discuss, but she gave little to no meaningful response. It felt like she was not actually engaging with my questions at all. I also specifically reminded her to look at my prior ER visit and relevant medical history, but she did not appear to review it or take it into consideration. The entire appointment felt as though she had not meaningfully reviewed my medical records, my intake concerns, or the context I was trying to provide. In addition, I brought up my migraines and asked for a referral to another specialist. She initially told me that the computer was not working and that she could not place the referral. However, after I strongly insisted, the referral was ultimately placed anyway. That made it very hard to believe that the issue was truly technical inability. It gave the impression that she was unwilling to help until I pushed hard enough, which was extremely frustrating and discouraging as a patient. Overall, I left this visit feeling dismissed, judged, stereotyped, and not listened to. The lack of preparation, lack of attention, lack of empathy, and apparent bias made this one of the worst medical experiences I have had. I would not recommend Dr. Gia to patients who want respectful, attentive, and compassionate care.

I was given a physical, but I did NOT receive a Medicare physical - and I only know this only because when I returned in 2023, the Medicare physical I received was entirely different than the one the year before. Before I went in for the physical in 2023, I asked how long it would take and the receptionist said 30 minutes. This is important to me, as I am a teacher and need to let the school know about coverage. While at the appointment, they told me they needed a urine sample. If I'd known I would not have gone to the bathroom before I left for the appointment. When the Nurse Practitioner Mann came into the room (30 minutes later) and asked about the urine sample - when I explained - she gave me a bottle of water. Why didn't her staff do that? They just kept pointing me to the bathroom and telling me to try. Also - when it was time to be weighed, I walked toward the scale - a medical looking scale - and was told, "No not that one" and they brought out a bathroom scale that was dirty and broken on one side. Whaaaaat? That appointment took an hour and 30 minutes. An hour more than what I was told!! After that hour and a half appt, I received the results of the blood work and needed a follow up appt, but - I also needed another appointment for a follow up on cat bite I'd had treated at Urgent Care. I called to make an appointment and to see if the appointments could be combined. The receptionist said she wasn't sure, but would check. I then asked how long she thought it would take if..... and before I could finish my sentence she said "30 minutes". Ugh. I was really upset and told her to let me talk to someone who knew the answers. Amandeep Mann got on the phone and I told her how I had been misinformed about the approximate length of my last appointment, and that her staff didn't seem to know answers. She said, "We are doing our best here!" And I said, "Well it's not good enough!" and she said, "Well then you can go and find another doctor!" I said, "I will!" - and that was then end of them. If a medical office does not have a staff that makes patients feel cared for, and it cannot provide what it's supposed to during an appointment, and it's a little dirty - I don't want to be there. I have a doctor at UW Valley Med now, and I feel very cared for. I do not recommend Kent Family Practice at all!!!
