Service was fast and friendly, the massaman curry was fantastic, huge portion of tofu. My mom had pad Thai and loved it.

Mismatched chairs, harsh fluorescence lighting and eating amongst the storage. You get to sit at counter or tables and watch your food being prepared and the dishes being washed. Both guys are very nice..but NOT brothers! morning If you want to get a taste to Korean. Ok, they use gochujang (I call this Korean spicy ketchup. ) I ordered bibimbop as was recommended by the cook. My fried egg was over cooked as I think requesting a runny egg was lost in translation and he gave me a fried YOLK egg. Cooked all the way. The ban Chan mixture of different Korean veggies was just okay. I miss a good ole fermented or spicy versions of kimchee. Also, I thought the rice became too mushy and some bits of the thinly slice beef was too tough or inedible. I did decide to get the chicken wings and was recommended the dakganjeong ( Korean sweet chili spices) wings. (I asked for extra chili powder on side to make more spicy...given on request). I did like the chicken wings. Nice crispy crust. Just not spicy enough with using gochujang they are serving. Would I stop by again... maybe for the wings.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place might be a hole in the wall, but it is off the hook!…read moreThe restaurant is inside a Korean grocery store, so it's easy to miss. Not enough seating area, so you'd be lucky if you can get a table. My friends brought me here because they said it was good, so I decided to try it. My friend Marvin got the Mussel soup, and it was huge! I tried a little bit of it, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Dosirak, and it was pretty good. I didn't eat the rice though, nor the little dessert that came with it. I only ate the Salmon, Soup, and Veggies and still filled me up! Very satisfying dinner.

Just wasn't my thing, especially growing up and eating it most of the time. HOWEVER, boy do I LOVE me some Spice Guru! I tried them randomly one night, just because I wanted to see how good they were since I had seen pretty decent reviews on other sites. Secondly, they have a great set meal price of 11.49, for a starter, main, naan or rice, and a can of soda. I usually order the seekk kebab hydrabadi, chicken or lamb tikka masala, a naan, and whatever drink is floating my boat that day. Food is good, and full of flavor, and with every set meal order, they give you free poppadom and chutney. Spice Guru not only started making me love Indian food again, but got me ordering from them basically one a week! I'm on a student's budget in Dublin, and if I go broke here, it won't be because of alcohol... it'll be because Spice Guru!

After all it was rated well by fellow reviewers too! The food turned out to be great! On time delivery with smile despite the confusing address we have. Good portion size. The set menu is a great deal. I so wanted to eat good biryani for a long time and glad I ordered it from here. Hubby's chicken tikka biryani was awesome; a bit better than my vegetarian one so I stole his :) All food was flavourful and made with less oil. Would love to try more! Only one downside - The vegetable tikka masala I ordered only had broccoli in it with a few green peas- no other veggies. Next time I will ask them to put more vegetables.

You are required to order three items from the menu, which is no problem with all the delicious options. One of our dining guests got the scallop starter and kind enough to share a bite. It was fantastic. I had the deviled egg. Nice but not over the top. In hindsight, I'd would do double scallops. Round two was marinated tomatoes with ricotta cheese and peaches. A very good options for two of our guests. I had the Beef cheeks and ox tail in a Parker House roll with bone marrow gravy. Wow! Delicious! And another guest had the bone marrow with chimichurri and toasted brown bread. Fantastic! For mains, one couple shared the beef specialty, a sirloin roast cooked a perfect medium rare. My wife had the White Pork which is a thick cut pork chop. Very good, well seasoned as well as moist and tender. I had the pork schnitzel. While good, it was pretty basic. In hindsight, should have gone for the halibut. Wine list gave you ample opportunities to select from French wines and a few Italian. With one American. Would like to see this area of the restaurant expanded a bit. All in all a wonderful dining experience.

I got the bone marrow and fish of sea bream. I washed down both with a pint of Guinness. I thought it was a bit pricey, but would recommend a try.
