Went in today to do some retail therapy. Needed a new pair of Chanel glasses and some makeup. Chanel is usually my guilty pleasure to spend money at, including glasses and/or sunglasses and makeup. Today (Friday Jan 30th), I went in along with my beautiful and quiet 11yo autistic son. We were initially greeted by the most lovely and warm woman (think transgender, regardless a beautiful human being), whose smile lit my soul up with a moment of joy. I immediately smiled back and waved hello. Then, headed for the glasses display as I desperately need a new pair (I'm on my 3rd pair), and it's my little guilty pleasure. Not even 5 minute later--just enough time to try on a gorgeous pair of sunglasses I intended to purchase immediately, had a pretty gold hue to the frame, and was great with my skin tone. Sadly, as my autistic son commented on the frame (he said I looked beautiful in them), an "angry with life", woman came and stained my day with a toxic tone of voice and energy vibe. Apparently she chose today to be the day to make it a practice of bullying and aggressively chastising children with autism. She got into my space and that of my son's, terrifying him (again, autistic child). With venom in her voice explained that we were NOT welcome in the store, as my son had a small cup of ice cream he was finishing in his hand. There was no grace or professionalism in her ugly stare and very hostile tone and body language. I was literally shocked and considered arguing as I wanted that frame. But, with my son starting to panic and get shaky--decided to just leave. I hope this review makes its way to management. Probably won't, as it's Chanel. But, you never know. read more

As an African American woman in my 30s I have a growing desire to preserve my skin and keep it hydrated and beautiful. Most of the time, I simply rely on drinking water and minding my business, but I've also been looking into creams and serums to maintain the glow. I was in the Chanel store doing some window shopping when I stumbled upon their wonderful skin care products. I'm a big fan of their perfumes and bought plenty of those over the years...so I had a chat with the lovely Sonja who walked me through their skin care line. At the time I was not ready to make a purchase so she gave me ample samples to take home and try! I am in love with the revitalizing cream, which includes Red Camellia Extract/plant nutrients. My skin felt super soft after applying. I also enjoyed the feel of the serum which is from the same N°1 De Chanel line. Both left my skin feeling fresh without feeling too heavy. Excellent customer service at this location and especially Sonja was marvelous and so helpful in leading me towards what I was looking for. So why spend money on excessive botox when you don't need it and also when you can get quality skincare and invest in yourself? All about it! My first time stopping by (since they just recently opened) but I wanted to come on here and praise the client advisor that I worked with because I was blown away with the customer service. Super sweet and helpful even though I wasn't picking up anything crazy - I was just stopping in to buy a little gift for a friend. I went in there to return sunglasses that was purchased at a different Chanel and since this location sold sunglasses, I called the client service number and they said that they would accept it. The store Director Sonja is so rude and not helpful and refused to return my sunglasses because it would affect her store numbers. She said that she was trying to do me a favor by exchanging the sunglasses, but she wouldn't be able to process the refund because the system wouldn't allow it.. doesn't make sense that the system will allow an exchange but not a refund. They are not in business to help the client. She was just worried about her store numbers now I have to drive all the way to Highland Park to process a return. read more

When I say that I am well traveled and have traveled to many Chanel's and this one is the most amazing Chanel Boutique I've been to I mean it! The customer service is amazing every single time I go , I will not ever ever go to Nordstrom (which I've had horrible experiences specifically in the Galleria Mall literally went yesterday and no one wanted to help me they just kept staring and avoiding my presence) I went today to the boutique again and had the best service from all the ladies they are super educational and understanding of how sensitive my skin is and the products I am wanting not only for me but for my husband to adore on me.
