"I have nothing but kind words for my experience here and I recommend this store to any pianist…read morelooking for a quality piano as well as a most musical experience." My name is Blake Olington Safrit, I am a 17 year old pianist and recently my father and I had come to the decision that perhaps a grand piano would help me advance into the level I desired. As I had progressed to where I was on a keyboard thus far. I looked up piano stores in North Carolina (on google) and this was one of the many, many results. After doing a bit of research I decided that this store appealed to me based on everything I had read, and it's location was close. Which was about 45 minutes. With my father, we drove to Winston-Salem. At this time, I thought that I knew all I could (for the most part) about what piano's were like. However I learned one thing in my visit, that I should never expect to learn everything through the internet or reading. This is due to someone I feel like I owe the must humble thanks, Chris Fulk. I will touch on this topic in a moment though. Let me say, as I saw the store I was very excited. Piano - it is my passion and looking through the windows you could imagine how curious I was. The selection, impeccable. Right when we walked in I felt like I was in some form of piano nirvana, heaven, what have you. A beautiful store with a large size, many nice pianists portraits on the wall and paintings as well. The highlight of course, the pianos. I didn't count, yet I wouldn't be surprised if there was more than 100. And not mainly factory copies from brands like yamaha and Kawai. (Not to say these are bad piano brands, however they are big piano brands. Which means many of their more affordable piano's are not handmade and unique). This store fashioned many pianos, from all around the world. Japan, America, Korea, China. There was Steinway and Baldwin, as well as many other high quality piano brands. There was also the more affordable options of Kawai, which I thought sounded very nice for their price. He had Young Chang brands as well. Once we entered, we didn't even have a few seconds before we were greeted so welcomingly by the owner Chris Fulk. He spent a good two hours with me helping me to realize how important it was that I had a nice piano rather than a keyboard to grow musically. He let me play on as many as I liked and even wanted me to play on high end instruments as well which was very fascinating. As I told him more of my story as a pianist, he informed me that I most certainly needed a teacher of high quality - and offered me the names and contact information of many established pianists and gave me the kindest gesture, his name, to use with these people. It was 6:16 when I left, 16 minutes after his closing time. However he never seemed rushed. I have nothing but kind words for my experience here and I recommend this store to any pianist looking for a quality piano as well as a most musical experience. I did not leave having purchased one, however I know that when I have decided, it will be with Piedmont Music Center. Hats off to this store, it has really touched me and helped more than I could have imagined.

Chris Fulk, offered me 5000 so that i could continue to survive. He sold the piano for 21 K, I believe and never offered me a cent more even when i begged him for 2 thousand more. I hope my piano went to someone who loves it as i did and i hope Chris Fulk goes to hell, Karma's a bitch , Chris Nancy
