Since they had just recently opened, they had a one week free trial going on when I went. I think that offer is over now, but I think there's occasional specials that occur though out the year. Totally worth it to ask if you decide to go there. The instructors are super nice! Master Kim, Adrian and Danny were super accommodating to a newbie like me. Master Kim made sure to check how each person was doing throughout the class, making sure that each of us were able to keep up. His instructions were clear and easy to understand throughout the class and he was super patient in making sure we were doing the moves properly. As there were several different levels attending the class, the instructors would teach us individually as well to help us focus on certain moved based on our "belt" level. I only went for two classes during the week, but would gladly go again. I was so tired after both classes! Would highly recommend them if you're looking for something new to try out :)

Summit teaches students the value of hard work, practice and dedication. Students quickly learn that being invited to test for a new belt is an honour and privilege, that has to be earned. The Summit team has high standards and runs a good quality martial arts program. I am genuinely impressed with the way that Master Morris, and all of the instructors, take the time to explain concepts to students at an age appropriate level. Instructors encourage, coach and mentor students inside the gym; but also teach them how to apply the 5 tenets of tae kwon do (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, set control and indomitable spirit) to their everyday lives. Students are all treated equally, fairly and with respect. The cost of classes is quite reasonable, when compared to other activities. I have taken into consideration that tae kwon do is twice a week, and students are learning so much more than just a sport. In addition, the class schedule is flexible, allowing students to attend the most convenient classes. I would happily recommend Summit Martial Arts to anyone looking to learn tae kwon do.
