I have found no deals on any golf clubs here in the last 6 yrs. If I find a club I need to fill a broken set, it is always priced too high (they are higher than any other Play It Again Sports (PIAS) by 20-500% for exact match club brands) and they are unwilling to negotiate a lower price except by less than 5%. By comparison to other Play It Again Sports - Shaumburg, Crystal, I was able to purchase the 2 needed clubs at 25% and 16% of the "negotiated" price of an identical club at the Waukegan Ave PIAS store. I do not recommend this store for any golf items. I will never again go to this store for any reason. It is not worth the trip (25 mi.) to waste my time. DB

That said, Eddie may be THE best gunsmith in the whole area. Krebs is great, but overall seems to have lost interest in dealing with the public, which is sad. Marc has always had a high sense of self-value while Eddie is very down to earth yet knows more about guns - of all types - than anyone I have run into. If you have a firearm that doesn't work (and a FOID card - Eddie is strict about the law, even the useless version in Cook County), bring it here. Or come around to chat with other gun guys, whether you are an old pro or a newbie. All are welcome. OTOH Amazon buyers like Bo Jangles will probably be happier going to Maxon or Cabelas, where you can buy a gun and not be "bothered" by people who love them.

We didn't interact with the staff much as they seemed more interested in arguing over if one of them forgot to order the others food or if the restaurant messed up. Seriously, we were there for over 30 minutes and they kept talking about it over and over. It would have been nice to get some recommendations as the selection was extensive and almost overwhelming. During COVID you had to make a reservation for boots but we got lucky and they had a cancellation. The boot fitting was excellent and for an hour they tried various boots having my wife stand, etc. to make sure the fit was perfect. We also found a pair of skis on sale that were perfect for her. As a result, I skied nine times this year and my wife has become a fan of skiing. Next time we need boots we will be here again.
