Stayed at the Marriott Auditorium Hotel for one night before heading out on an early morning flight. The hotel is massive and I went down to Champions to order food because they have the same items that they offer for room service at a cheaper price if you just get takeaway from the bar. The restaurant is Americanized and offers common American favorites like quesadillas, wings, spaghetti and sandwiches. Portions are huge! Nothing special but absolutely a solid meal. read more

Warm greeting and great service but no way that could overcome the absolutely terrible burger and horrendous IPA I was served... My strong reco... jump in an Uber and get a good meal almost anywhere else in Spain as you will surely be disappointed here! read more

Convenience (for hotel guests) is what keeps this American-style sports bar in business. It is one of three restaurants on premises at the Marriott Conference Hotel. The food is so/so, but ordering the right dish can elevate your experience: - Mixed Fajitas were above average - Rustic burger was below average - steak fries were average With the bar's 8 televisions, a Fusbal table and pool table there are many activities at this venue to keep you active .. along with a full bar and a half-dozen beers on tap. We were here for one night transitioning to an international flight (and it was too late to travel into the City). The Champions Bar and Grill is the on-property dining option at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center. We were staying at the Madrid Marriott and arrived kind of late so Champions was kind of our only option for what was still open at that hour. The ambiance was great, which matched the hotel's upscale look. Grey and white clean tile ceilings paired with dark wood floors and ivory columns. There were a few bits of sports equipment, I guess to fit with the "Champions" theme. There's a bar at the center of the restaurant and it had lots of TVs playing sports games as well. The food we ordered was just alright - nothing too fancy, but the staff was very nice with us when we arrived so late and wanted to order food. I got rigatoni and my husband had the salmon with mashed potatoes. Both needed a bit more seasoning, but they worked to quell our hunger for the night. We decided to order a dessert to-go, to take back to our room. It was a chocolate layered cake slice with strawberry drizzle, and THAT was delicious. For a hotel restaurant/bar & grill - and being super late at night when we dined there, I think this was still a pretty good option! read more

Happy to have this bar open. The service is great when they do not have a full bar/restaurant. There are plenty of options to choose from. I did not like the croquettes but the rest was good. Never an empty glass of wine as the server came ready with the bottle each time. read more

The service definitely gets a Five and the food, although very good, was not the best I've had but considering the current environment gets a Five too. During our evening stay at the Marriott Auditorium Airport Hotel, we went to Champions Bar for dinner, as this was one of the two restaurants that was open that evening (the other was the Mediterranean restaurant but it was described more of a higher end restaurant so we opted for this one). This is pretty much your American type of food restaurant that is just okay and will get you through the evening to satisfy your hunger. There are a few Spanish tapas options but we didn't order that. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad (which has chicken tenders, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon bits, with blue cheese dressing) and my friend ordered the quesadillas. Both were okay, pretty much like what you would get at like an Applebees, Red Robin's, or a typical average American restaurant. Overall, dishes range from 11-18 euros. Wouldn't mind trying the other places in the hotel too but this was an easy in and out restaurant that did the job of leaving me full and satisfied. read more

Food was NOT good. We were staying in the hotel, so the idea of walking downstairs to pick up some food sounded great after a day of traveling. The calamari was inedible. The quesadillas lacked flavor. The pizza was hard and much more crust than toppings. Big disappointment. The guy who took our order was friendly enough. I appreciated that! read more
