I had also previously had a terrible experience with another doctor, among other things, and I had just about given up on being treated decently. In walks Dr. Christian and he immediately made me feel comfortable! I told him how I was feeling, and he listened. Dr. Christian went over my prognosis thoroughly and explained that I would need surgery. I was still pretty pissed off about how the OTHER doctor (if you want to call him that) had treated me, so I was not in a good headspace at all that day, but Dr. Christian understood that and made me feel so much better. He told me to let that experience go, to trust him, and I did. I DID have the surgery with Dr. Christian, and I must say everything went GREAT! It was also a very emotional day for me because my surgery day fell on the birthday of my dog that recently died, but the surgical staff understood that too, and helped dry my tears before I went into the surgery room. I would like to say I could not have asked for a better experience even if I wanted to. My post- surgical care has also been great. YES, ROTATOR CUFF SURGERY IS PAINFUL, and I HATE going to physical therapy!!!! There is no way around that, but my pain is being managed. I would recommend ANYONE who is facing rotator cuff surgery to Dr. Christian and the entire staff! It has been 19 months and to this day I have trouble walking, swelling, climbing steps, falling,etc. Dr. Ferguson was my surgeon and I would not recommend him. I was experiencing problems post surgery, but his assistant would not let me schedule with him. The physical therapist told me it sometimes takes a year for the swelling to go down. That is because the surgeon is not lible after a year. I have seen 3 orthopedic surgeons and they just say my knee is not infected and in place. I am not able to work like this anymore and will probably have to go on disability.

I've had other issues that were not within her field and recommended me to colleagues who were outstanding. Dr Wolfe was outstanding regarding my knee issue. Dr Saenz did an outstanding surgery on the wrist I broke. This establishment from the time you walk through the door, escorted to the doctor, seeing the doctor, getting X-ray, and checking out is extremely pleasant. The wait time very minimal from the waiting room to seeing the doctor. Since my time with this establishment I've never been under their roof over an hour...! After our 40 minute wait, the xrays, and a confirmation that it was broken.... this is when they started to take us seriously. We then rushed her to Le Bonheur because they said they didn't have any ambulances but they would call ahead so that Le Bonheur would know we were on the way and what was going on. Surprise!!! They never called Le Bonheur and it was like pulling teeth to get them to send her xrays to Le Bonheur. Horrible bed side manner. Horrible staff. No empathy or sympathy for a three year old that just broke her leg. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
