I have been dealing with this Syndic (Management Company) for several years now. I cannot think of…read morehow they could be worse in what they attempt to do. One example: there has been a water leak from one floor of one of their buildings into more than one apartment on the next floor. There have been numerous complaints and insurance filings over the last 2 years and basically nothing has been done. They say they have not identified the actual point of the leak, so that it can be repaired, and so the insurance companies will not pay for the repair of the ceilings that are caving in on the damaged floor.
In another building that is mostly occupied by elderly adults, the lift stopped working and the poor occupants have been carrying groceries up and down stairs, sometimes as many as four or five flights.
In yet another building the electronic code broke down in the entrance to the building and people were not able to get up to their apartments.
Of course, these things happen, but not this frequently in most buildings and never before have I seen a Management Company that takes this long to repair a problem. By the time the problem is repaired the cost has skyrocketed. (A stitch in time saves nine.)
