There are a bunch of delicious looking candies and cookies that are enticing even to me, who doesn't have a sweet tooth. Everything is beautifully displayed and plastic gloves are available for the customers to handle the merchandise. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything you buy is put into beautiful tin boxes or cans. All of this come at a price; things in this little shop are not cheap.

Salade Niçoise is kind of the thing around here so great place to start. Even if you don't like anchovies, you should still try one. The pizzas are baked fresh and have many topics/options to choose from. Being from Brooklyn, automatically I know more about pizza than you, so take it from me that its worth getting. :) But my absolute favorite thing here was the Croissant with almond and chocolate. Yes, almond and chocolate!!! Each one feels like it weighs a good half pound, and with enough butter to make a bag go see-through. Beautifully rolled and beautifully stuffed; each one is a pure work of art. While not recommended unless on vacation; I ate these everyday. Fortunately, Pierre Herme still sells their macarons at Nice Airport. Though I am skeptical about buying macarons at the airport, after buying a bad batch of macarons (not from Pierre Herme) once before a flight. Not sure if it was because I bought them later in the day or because flying does something to the quality. I would recommend eating them sooner than later, in any case.
