Went to a wedding there recently. The venue is generally an underdeveloped piece of the outdoors…read morewith a duck pond and a canopy for shade. It makes for some pretty photos, nice vistas overlooking the pond. The crux of this place is how underdeveloped it is. The bathroom situation is a Porta potty, there's a canopy for shade but it can only accommodate the smallest of parties. There's not enough outlets and lighting is limited. They tend to restrict their events to daylight hours and don't allow alcohol which makes for very quaint events. It's a mom and pop affair but that means they expect you to set everything up and tear everything down when you're done and the people who operate this are not the friendliest bunch. The improvements the venue does have seem pretty underwhelming. Think Home Depot special, definitely keep your expectations low on this one. All in all if you're thinking of this style of outdoors wedding you may be better served considering a park or similar setting. May be more cost effective without the hassle of dealing with the owners.

The gal eventually came out and when asked said there was plenty of time for us to enjoy a flight. There were two different red flights and we went with Heritage flight as she said it wasn't as sweet as the other. Both were $12 for 3 pours. It consisted of a Pinot Gris (crisp and refreshing and ended up being our favorite), Rosé and a Cab. She offered a Pinot Noir as well and added it to the cost of our flight making it $15 for the four of them. Cabs are our go to red - this one wasn't as full bodied as we usually enjoy. The gal was pleasant to visit with but she did not discuss any of the wines or offer much information on the wines or winery. If asked she was good to share but I always enjoy hearing about the wines and history of the winery.
