That was when my friends recommended me Jay. I set up an appointment online to see him asap. The first thing I noticed was how clean and nice his shop looked. He had some Jay immediately greeted me and sat me down for my haircut. I was little nervous coming in but that quickly vanished as he began talking to me. Jay is the most talkative person I've ever met. I'm usually a quite type and like to just get my haircut and leave but with Jay I wanted to talk more about everything. He's such a nice and interesting guy. He also knows how to use his hands! The moment he started cutting my hair I knew that he was an excellent barber. He took his time with the my fade and made sure it looked as clean as possible. He'd do a double take each time to make sure he didn't miss anything. Once he was done he showed me every angle of my hair to make sure I loved everything about it, and I did! Jay is an excellent barber with an amazing shop. I'm so glad that my friends let me know about him. I was stunning in my photos in California and that is all thanks to Jay. If my barber isn't available I know Jay is the one I'm going to. Actually ,if my barber ever starts slacking I'm making Jay my permanent one.

I'm bald…read morebecause my hair doesn't grow evenly on my head, so I've given completely up on having a hairline. My beard is no different! I can't quite get my beard to evenly grow to have a magnificent mane (think Rick Ross), so I continously start to grow, cut my beard off, only to grow it out and cut it off again. It is a vicious cycle! Enter my man, Jermaine! He has singlehandedly restored order and faith in my beards potential to grow. He continues to amaze me with his shadowing prowess and despite my beards limitations, he navigates effortlessly around my beard's shortcomings. I've tried to go elsewhere due to convenience, but all other barber's have failed miserably. If you're having issues with your beard or hairline, Jermaine is the doctor you've been waiting for. The man works magic and I'd be hard pressed to entertain another barber again. HE'S OFFICIAL!!!

For less than six dollars more, I got a real haircut by Diana who took her time to understand what I was looking for, made sure I knew exactly what she was doing the whole time, and made the experience relaxing - no stress at all. The chain place I've been going to has never used a straight razor on my neck so the fact that Old School does this was a treat. The taper in the back is perfect, and the hot towel and shoulder massage was a really nice touch. No appointment needed, I didn't have to wait, and I was treated like a king. Thank you!
