Arepas (uh-RAY-puhs) are corn flatbreads stuffed with fillings, and here, they serve them either baked or fried. My favorite was their pabellón arepa. It takes all the components of their pabellón plate (Venezuela's national dish) and stuffs them in the arepa. I passed by this spot just walking around, enjoying the nice weather. I love me some Venezuelan food so I figured might as well support smaller businesses. This was before I saw it had a 4.9! The host was super friendly and energetic. I got two empanadas, yuca fries, and mango juice for $20, which is really good considering the surrounding area. It was super hot and fresh! One thing to address with the empanadas is the chicken one was pretty empty. I actually overheard another table ask the waiter about it.
