My brother was a patient of Dr. Tambor, and I know of what I speak. It's a crime that doctors like this take advantage of those who need relief of pain, or are simply looking to get a buzz and dose it out with little care for their long term health, in lieu of the almighty dollar they make. Dr. Tambor's license should have been revoked a llllong time ago, and it scares me to think of the many other patients, outside of my own brother, whose health will be threatened, a few pills at a time.

One may be reluctant to use these Assistants but I must say I found one of them, Dr Siclari, very thorough, very patient and extremely knowledgeable. Even when I took blood tests she made sure to call me up and give me the results. While she is young, she reminds me of the old time Doctors I used to have who knew you and cared for you with sincerity. With all these walk-ins popping up, some of which I used, you don't get that personal care. So don't have negative connotations about a physician assistant examining you. Rest assured if you see Dr Siclari, you will be seen by a decent, well educated and caring individual.

They unfortunately don't take my insurance but I go here anyway and pay out of pocket because when you find a Doctor you trust , you don't leave. The current office staff is excellent as well. Dr Savino listens , cares, and takes as long as you need with each visit. The other plus is that you never really wait a long time for your visit. I think generally, the wait is maybe 10-15 minutes , if that. Obviously, things happen when it's longer but that's very rare. I always recommend them. Best Doctors on Staten Island as far as I'm concerned.

He's extremely thorough and listens to his patients, which I think is sometimes lacking with many medical professionals. He recommended testing for something just by looking at me and turned out he was right but thankfully it ended up not being something very bad (I prefer not to give my medical history which makes this sentence read awkward lol). Basically, he's just an awesome doctor and I can say easily the best I've encountered in years. I travel from Brooklyn to see him bc I will no longer trust anyone else with my medical care (I realize BK to SI isn't far but there are tons of doctors in Brooklyn)
