Unfortunately, in most of the tourist cities in Switzerland, it is almost impossible to get a same day reservation, since they book dinner tables for the entire night, or sometimes will have only 2 set time seating's. This is a helpful tidbit to keep in mind for American travelers, where we are so used to restaurants being much more accommodating. Somehow we were lucky enough to get in last minute, and we were so glad we did! We loved the feeling of being in a cozy little restaurant outside of the main village, in which we did not have very good dining experiences. The inside is absolutely charming, feeling warm, toasty, and inviting after a day in the snow. I particularly loved the leather covered menu's. Service was very polite and one of the friendliest we experienced in Switzerland. the owners made rounds and were very attentive to each table. Menu is traditional hearty swiss dishes with some Italian mix-ins as well. The bread in particular, is absolutely delicious. It seemed to be baked in house.
