It was hectic because of the holidays, but Ryan got us through it all. He is personable and was very easy to get along with. He was able to provide expertise without also being overbearing. Communication Ryan was always responsive throughout the whole process and made sure what we needed was expressed to the sellers. He explained each step to us and what our options were. Results Ryan made sure we got the house we wanted and that we could negotiate for the best possible results. He called the title company and lender to make sure everything was on track multiple times. He tracked down info on repairs and items that we needed quickly. Even once we had bought the house, but hadn't moved in yet, he came by to meet the contractor for some repairs done by the sellers. He did a great job and we will recommend him to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell their home. If we ever move we would definitely use him again.

He responded quickly by email, followed by a phone chat. He actually defended my current agent, discussed the role of the market with me, and in the most tactful manner changed my thinking. I gave him every chance to promote himself to me, and instead we just cordially discussed my situation.     Clemmer & Co. looked promising at first -- but my experience quickly turned into a frustrating…read moreletdown. I lived at a small property near North Chester and Day Ave for a year and a half. The rent was fair, and the neighborhood was peaceful when I first moved in. Lyndsey was wonderful during the move-in process -- sweet, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't follow suit. The property itself declined quickly. The communal laundry room, which was a listed amenity in my lease, was removed without warning after the owner converted garage buildings into more rental units. No heads-up. No replacement. Just "figure it out yourself." Maintenance? Almost nonexistent. My requests were often canceled by the maintenance supervisor without so much as a call or follow-up. One of the worst examples was a clogged toilet that took three weeks to fix. A contractor even said it needed replacing -- but warned me not to get my hopes up because Clemmer wouldn't approve it. He was right. There were also serious issues with the unit -- roaches, brown water from the hot taps (the water heater likely needed replacement), and zero pest support. I paid out of pocket to handle it myself. And communication? Honestly, it was awful. Utilities were shut off with no notice. Reaching someone felt like a part-time job. I was patient and kind throughout my lease, but that effort was never reciprocated. If you're weighing your options in Bakersfield, skip Clemmer & Co. and take a good look at Central Cal Management. You'll get better service, better communication, and a company that actually follows through.

    WORST company I had to deal with. I've hired them to manage my home for the last 3 years. The first…read moreyear, I had no issue. Second year, I had concerns (that I'd addressed). This last year, I lost hoped. I felt they were working for the tenants than having my best interest in mind. I made it loud and clear numerous times what my priorities were. Mention how it will be difficult to contact me since I am active duty, station on the east cost. I've deployed numerous times overseas which make it difficult to contact me or respond to emails right away. I've told them it will be difficult for me to response right away but I will response as soon as I can. Which is why, I repeatedly told them my priorities every time I had concerns before I'd pushed out on deployments. But, when I would contact them, I get a little to no response. It wasn't until I decided to sale my home that ended our relationship, where they started harassing me. Asking me to provide payment for their services for the last month that they didn't provide any services another than headaches. "I will take the next steps in resolving this with the military and small claims..." What does the military have to do with anything when it is a civil matter. And filing for small claims for something under $500 is a waste of money on their end. I would not recommend this company as a homeowner or tenant.
