Chad came highly recommended by the surgeon who performed my knee replacement. Chad helped me rehab from that surgery this past February and will begin helping me recover from my second knee replacement in October. I can't speak highly enough of him and his staff. He is very, very knowledgeable and has a great manner. Throughout my rehab process he was very tuned in to my pain, while encouraging me to progress at the rate I was capable of. His physical set up consists of individual treatment rooms for the first consult with everyone doing exercises in a very pleasant main area. Even while he was working on another patient, he seemed aware of where I was at in the exercise process. I swear he has eyes behind his head. And yet, when he was working on my knee and keeping track of other patients who were working out, I never felt that I had less than 100% of his attention. I found it amazing that he could do that. Plus, his knowledge level and manner gave me complete confidence that I wouldn't be injured by doing what he suggested, which is very important when you're in a whole lot of pain and have undergone major surgery. He corrected my cane use, which contradicted the advice of the PT I had started out with and turned out to be right, since it didn't cause further injury. My previous PT worked on multiple people simultaneously, leaving me hanging around for long periods of wasted time doing nothing constructive, which was a whole lot easier than actually rehabbing but left me with no progress. I found that as long as I kept my appointments and did the at home exercises, my progress was steady and amazing. I can't recommend him highly enough. He is definitely worth the trek to his office near Alvarado Hospital. read more
