Next, all we got was a salad and a serving of wine, then a piece of flatbread with a little bacon and potatoes on it and a serving of wine, then another salad, which was cucumber slices with some whipped cheese on top, and a serving of wine. I was expecting three distinct dishes instead of a couple of salads and an appetizer. She did give us some pasta salad to go that was left over from the previous event as well as a sample container (ala lunchables) which had some chicken salad, watermelon, grapes, and Gouda cheese. She also threw in a small dessert. Honestly, I would've done better at a deli at Publix, where we could've gotten something equivalent along with a bottle of wine and still saved $100. After leaving, I felt like we needed to go through a drive-through fast food restaurant to actually have a meal. This was definitely not worth $170. I would've much rather spent that at a restaurant and had a full meal with a bottle of wine. Maybe my experience was not good because of the event the day before, but I can only judge it by the time that we were there. Maybe it's like this every time which is why I'm writing this review. If it's not like this every time then why were we short changed? Not recommending this to anyone. Thankful for the gift from my son and his wife, but the money could've been better used elsewhere.
