Since 2001 I have used a popular tax service in my area to complete my income tax. It took weeks,…read moreand sometimes even longer to make an appointment. As I would sit in the waiting area, I always felt very uncomfortable just wanting it to be over. I suggested more than once that they should put Valium in the candy dish. I always got the same accountant but we would meet for only a few minutes before I was dismissed with another appointment, for a week later, to come back and sign finished documents, pay them, and be on my way. I hate Income Tax Time, and this place never made me feel any better about it. A few months before 2018 taxes were due, I got a letter from that accounting firm at which time I was informed that the person who did my taxes was leaving and they were releasing me as a client. They gave me no recommendations for a new place where I could have my returns done, so I am guessing that I also lost any carry-over information. They said that they were concentrating more on commercial clients. So, seventeen years of loyalty meant nothing. Everyone who I spoke with, friends, and friends of friends, had friends who had friends, or relatives who did taxes. You could drive over to their house in God's country, or they may be able to visit your home. Talk about frustrating, and all this compounding the already existing stress of having to get taxes done again, what am I going to do?? All right the story telling is over because I found USA TAX SERVICE. I was passing their place on Ridge Avenue and there was a sign which read Income Tax Service. I said to myself, they must be new because I always remembered that building having many small windows in it, and each window had an American Flag on an angle and I enjoyed passing it just to see those flags. Now the building looked very clean, and all those windows were replaced with big ones and interesting window lighting. I called them as soon as I got home and I was invited to bring in my tax documents as soon as I could. I smiled the entire time I was there, we had nice conversations, and about a half hour later I was signing all my tax return documents and was charged a fee, which was more than reasonable for the service. I guess when you are used to being over charges, like I was for seventeen years, you just deal with it. Well now I have enough money left over to buy diapers for the baby........just kidding! But I did expect it to be more. This year I took advantage of the three-month extension because of the corona virus, but the last filing day is in one week, OMG! I hate tax season. The bottom line is that within one day I was able to bring my taxes in, had nice conversation with a smile while my taxes were being done, and now the next thing that gets done is give the dogs a bath. I can't impress upon you enough how much I enjoyed and was satisfied with my visits to USA TAX SERVICE. Thank you USA TAX SERVICE for being so professional, respectful, personable, while getting the job done quickly. If you need an accounting/tax service, I highly recommend them, you won't be sorry.

Definitely not a good sign. My husband is self employed and contacted Ms. Sam to help with our business and personal tax preparations. Ms. Sam was responsive to us initially, and as time passed we have yet to hear back from her. We have real concerns with this company and started calling and leaving her messages along with emails to find out where we were at with our taxes. In the beginning we gave Ms. Sam the benefit of the doubt because it was tax season, and one would only assume that any accountant worth their salt would be extremely busy at this tme of the year, right?! Our patience began waring, and as time has passed (Months) we continue to call and leave messages asking her to please contact us. It has been months since our last conversation with Ms. Sam, thus leaving us in a precarious situation with our tax filing. She has all of our financial information which is not cool at all and leaves me contemplating our next step ... This has been the worst experience with someone who has just completely ghosted us for no apparent reason whatsoever ?! Not to mention, her unprofessionalism at it's worst when her business success solely relies on satisfied paying customers, not to mention her reputation as well! It's been very disappointing and expensive and I wasn't offered a refund and had to follow up several times to even get it resolved. There's definitely been a change here and my advice if you're looking for peace of mind when completing your taxes, is either to do them yourself or look elsewhere.

After two years of terrific service, the 2023 tax filing season was a very different, and…read moreunpleasant, experience. We returned all of our documents well ahead of their early-March deadline and, after I prodded them for confirmation of receipt, we heard nothing else. Several days before tax deadline, they sent a mass email to all clients suggesting that if we hadn't heard from them yet, they would file an extension. I reached out by email and phone--several times--the weeks before and following April 15, with no response or even confirmation of receipt of my communications. At that point, we had no confirmation that our tax documents were actually in their queue or that an extension had definitely been filed on our behalf. Frankford responded (via email) many days later and, while they acknowledged that this was a difficult year for them, they provided little to no proactive explanation of our taxes, nor did they review any of the returns with us. A week ago, we received a letter from the IRS that our taxes had been filed incorrectly. We understand that accountants make errors, however, despite reaching out to Frankford about the error, we have yet to hear back to understand what happened. It seems their lack of communication is not limited to the weeks around tax filing deadline. We will be looking for another tax professional next year, and would encourage others to approach Frankford with caution.
