Dust everywhere.

I would not recommend having a party here or for even vendors to agree to decorate here. Absolutely horrible experience. I was able to go at 5 am to set up on Saturday morning for my client. Floors were super sticky. As I got started on draping dust was everywhere. Dust clumps everywhere falling onto me. I was disgusted. My clients began to arrive and saw how dirty the place was and left over decorations from the night before were everywhere. They had to call family member in to help them clean the bathrooms, sweep and mop the floors and wipe down the mirrors. I felt sorry for them. This lady puts no money into her place and doesn't keep it clean. Then I told her I needed to pick up at 6 am the next day as I had another event to get to and she told me the earliest I could pick up my draping was 7. Or she was telling me to go at midnight the night of. She said her cleaning lady was going at 7 am on Sunday morning and I asked her why she couldn't just open it for me at 6 am like she did Saturday at 5 and her response was she lives far. I'm sorry are you not running a business here???? That's my problem because??? Just my recommendation for someone looking to rent the space don't. And for a vendor don't do a job here. Update: she's upset I left a TRUTHFUL review. This is not a little bit a dust that is normal. She is not obligated to open her own business earlier? Family also was calling her to tell her how messy the place was but she was not answering their calls. Don't rent out your space as a dance hall if you don't know how to manage one.

Vanessa is extremely friendly and professional. Just had my daughter's first communion party yesterday and it was a success. Very clean and spacious- had about 80 people. We are very pleased .

Owners were very kind, attentive and cooperative during and after the event. Ample time was given to us for set up and clean up. Our guests had all but positive comments of how the venue was beautiful and spacious. I have highly recommended this venue to friends and family that attended

Rented the venue for my son's first birthday. The owner is super sweet, easy going. She was showed us how to use all of the cool gadgets that come with the rental. The venue is a nice size, we set up for 100 guest. Would totally use again in the future as well as recommend it to family and friends.

Over 150 guests for a formal dance party! Perfect and spacious for hosting dance events.

Amazing Venue!! Hosted a formal dance party at the Cha Cha Dancing Gym and everyone had a great time. Perfect size and layout for a large dance floor, we had over 150 guests and we all fit in the 3,000 sqft. space. The owner Vanessa is very professional, sweet, and accommodating to her guests. She was very helpful in answering questions and lending her tables and chairs for our event. There is also a lot of parking since it is located within a shopping plaza. I will definitely be using this venue again for future events.

If i could give 10 stars i would! i definitely recommend this place if your holding an event!

If i could give more stars i would! its very spacious and clean. I held my baby shower here yesterday and it was a huge hit! the lights and stage were amazing. would definitely recommend if you're holding an event

My daughter has been dancing since she was 2. We moved to Huntington Beach when she was 9 and…read morechecked out several local dance options (there are a lot of great options in the area). We decided on HAD because it has all the things she wanted at the time.(lots of performance opportunities, kind experienced teachers, a friendly dance community, a focus on ballet and proudly stayed away from some of the dubious costume choices one sees at competition studios). I could go on and on about this place, but I will try to be concise. A few notes on why we love this studio still (7 years later and going strong) 1. Safety. They use a defined curriculum (The Cecchetti Method). It may seem slow, but no kid goes up on pointe until they are physically ready. This helps reduce and prevent injury and provides a clear path toward their goals. 2. Quality. As my kid and her friends transitioned into High School, they were all able to succeed at any high school program (academy for performing arts, dance team, ASB), whatever direction they went, the dance foundation they got at HAD paved the way. 3. Options. There are many levels and styles of dance that kids can focus on. They can spend 1 hour a week at HAD or 12. They can aspire to join the studio youth company or become a student demonstrator or just perform in the spring recital. 4. Opportunity. So many of the kids have gone on to prestigious collegiate dance programs, some have pursued successful dance careers at world class dance companies around the world. Some danced in a few shows, gained confidence, learned about taking corrections, hard work and collaboration and took that to the next thing. 5. Community. Most of my kids closest friendships were fostered here. She has some incredible mentors and role models in the teachers and girls who have gone through the program before her. I highly recommend you check Huntington Academy of dance for your child. I believe they offer a free class so check it out to see if it is what you are looking for. Go in and talk to some of the families at the studio or the people at the front desk, they are super helpful!

As a mom, I appreciate this studio because the studio follows the Cechetti method and focuses on performances instead of competitions. The end of the year performances, as well as the performing group shows, are very high quality. As with all things though, the studio, the kids and the parents are not perfect. Each situation is so different. However, as you can see by Miss Kimberly's responses to the reviews, she is very professional and cares deeply about the studio and especially the kids. I feel very very fortunate to have found HAD.

And the warm-ups and stretches we do every Mondays and Wednesdays always makes me ready to learn a new dance or record or dance that me and my group have been practicing for a few weeks. It's always fun to see new people come in and go, but the most important thing is that confident is key and if you don't have that confidence you won't have confidence in your dance. I've been going to this dance classes for three or four months and I've been loving it. I've been excited to go every day to learn something new or add more onto our dance. I can't wait to learn something new after we're done with this dance, but I just love the fact that they put effort to teaching us and making us smile and laugh every time we're there I love this educational center and I would recommend this if you're wanting to learn dance because they would make you feel welcome and comfortable even if you are new they will treat you the same that they treat the other students that's been going there I can't wait till next week to go back and see my dance teacher and my friends that make me laugh and smile and make me confident and make my dancing confident.

3 stars for our limited trial experience (Would've preferred to not mark any but Yelp requires star…read morerating in order to post a comment). We only attended one Mini K-pop trial class and did not enroll, but I'm sharing our experience to help families decide whether this studio may be a good fit. TLDR version: Based on our trial, the studio told us it did not have the capacity or specialized experience to support my child's ASD-related needs. It may be a better fit for children who can participate independently, follow a structured class format, and are interested in more serious dance training rather than a casual recreational class. Long version: Not leaving a star rating because we only attended one trial Mini K-pop class and were not enrolled clients. I'm sharing our experience to help families assess whether the studio may be a good fit for their child. Before the trial, I emailed the owner to ask whether the class might work for my child, who is on the autism spectrum. He responded promptly and was transparent that the instructors did not have specialized experience or the capacity to provide the level of support my child may need. He still invited us to try a class so both sides could determine whether it was a fit. I accidentally arrived on the wrong week, but the owner was understanding and allowed us to participate. The instructor's teaching style was structured, direct, constructive, and firm while remaining respectful. My child attended with an ABA therapist, who provided reminders, redirection, and support throughout the class. After observing, the owner told me that the studio would not be able to accommodate my child's needs in its regular class environment. He also shared that the level of support required during class could be distracting for the other students. I understand his perspective and appreciate that he was direct rather than allowing us to enroll in a program that was not set up for my child's needs. Still, it stung as a parent. When you see your child making progress at school and in social settings, it is hard to be reminded that some environments may still not be accessible or appropriate for them. During the class, the other children appeared to notice that my child needed more support and was not keeping pace. Our therapist later told me that some children had asked questions among themselves about why my child was different. They are young children, and I do not blame them, the instructor, or the studio. But it was still a difficult moment for me as a parent. There were also a couple of practical reasons the program was probably not the best fit for us: (1) I was looking for a one-day-per-week recreational class, while the front desk staff explained that the program generally expects a two-day weekly commitment so students can practice and retain what they learn. That expectation was not completely clear to me from the website. (2) The class appeared best suited to children who can follow directions independently and who are ready for a more structured, skill-focused dance environment. I was looking for a lower-pressure recreational activity focused more on enjoyment and socialization. Overall, it was not the right fit for our family or the studio's current program structure. Families seeking a structured dance program may have a different experience. Parents of children who need individualized behavioral, communication, or therapeutic support may want to ask in advance about the studio's ability to provide accommodations. The communication style also felt fairly direct and "tough love," which may be worth considering for children who respond better to a gentler approach.
